Market

My fiancé and I came for mid week lunch, with no reservation. We had some oysters, tuna tartare, hanger steak, fish with cream sauce, a selection of chocolates, and a variety of wines. Food was delicious and well prepared. I enjoyed the semi-open kitchens where you can see your food being prepared. The seating in Market was comfortable, and our host was attentive. It does get quite busy even on a week day, so a reservation would be wise. Definitely would come back for date night or a special treat.

Marker was an exceptional dinning experience. The look and feel of the market matched perfectly with the food. Starting with thr desert, Key Lime Pie, 💯 recommend it. I had some sort of chicken dish as my main which was tasty. This is definitely a pantry dropping dinner spot. Will be back.

I had been wanting to try Market for a while, especially for the centollo (crab) dish and meat menu. When we first got there I was very impressed by the decor, the place is beautiful! It reminds me of our favorite eateries back in Europe. The service was great, although we did have to signal for the waiter each time we needed something. Still they were very attentive and accommodating. Was didn’t impress me as much was the food. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. I had high expectations based on the price and the ambiance, but the quality of the food was just “eh.” Nothing out of this world. I would give 3.5 stars if I could, but leaning into the 4 due to the service, the wine, and that we still enjoyed ourselves. The oysters were pretty good, but extremely expensive. The prime rib was a bit dry. The mussels in white wine sauce were alright, but again, nothing to write home about. The lobster roll was more bread and mayonnaise then lobster (as you can see from the photo). I’d give it another shot, but I think I’d stick to pizza, salads and burgers? Maybe that’s what they do best. For the expansive menu and high prices, I guess I just expected more.

We bought pralines in the shop a while ago and came back for lunch. There is only good to say about our experience! Excellent preparation, taste and service! The menu is extensive and one has a hard time to choose. We will be back soon to try more. The fish sandwich and local grass fed beef was delicious.

Food is alright, but the place has a very good vibe

Beautiful place to buy food to take home to make or enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner. The sushi and fresh fish were wonderful. Wine selection is really nice, lots of variety. Funky decor and tons of bottles of wine line the walls. It does get really busy on the weekends. Closed Sundays. Great experience!

This American style steakhouse and Deli Shop offers great Steaks, Burguers, and a variety of salads fresh and well prepared. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is contemporary. Nice choice!

The Restaurant/Shop called Market is located at Calle 48 Este-Rogelio Alfaro is a place where you can buy apparently fresh ingredients but me and my family went to Market to try out their food. the atmosphere is amazing having a big wall of wine, a chalk board with the desert menu and much more. The dishes that we orders are 6 Ostras costing 5$ each which is insane for an Ostras, it tastes so fishy and had nothing special on it. Next dish we order was the Majillones, which was very disappointing because they give you such little mussel compare to other restaurants that has bigger mussel.Next dish is Rockefeller Oyster was pretty delicious but the price is insane costing 32$. The mains we order Colorado Lamb, Rib Eye, Maine Lobster, and Porter House 110. All the meats were amazing but the most disappointing part is the side dishes having a whole tomato and a bread that so soft and bland. I suggest putting mashed potatoes or French fries. Very disappointed of the side dishes. Futhermore, the salmon crujiente and the veggie roll are the most disappointing dishes I have ever seen , the salad is so small and won’t fill you up at all, I was expecting plenty of greens but you get a small bowl of greens and the sushi is so small that it looks like it’s for a kid to eat. Probably the best dish that we order that was the best for the money is the pizza carbonara costing 13$ with amazing flavors. Overall, great staff but one of the staff kept staring at us which was weird and I recommended just getting a burger or pizza to be safe since all other dishes are either small or very expensive.
