We visited Markthalle Innsbruck over the weekend and it was very busy with many options for shopping, food and drinks. You can find many local products and even clothing. You can also seat to eat and drink. Great option for a stop next to river and Innsbruck city center. Recommend it!

We visited here in the middle of the week, and the market wasn't very lively, with many shops not opening. However, if you're looking for a meal, this place is a great option. It's not as expensive as dining in a restaurant, but you can still find a good meal during the day. Great location and next to the main parking of city center.

i’m a tourist staying in a hotel room. if u were staying at flat/room with kitchen, i guess that it is worth to visit. i visited in the early morning like 9:00 around on 10June, not much shops were opened yet… or they were just empty retail spaces?
Anyways, berries that we bought were very fresh!

Beautiful market in the centre of Innsbruck. Here you will find beautiful pastries, meat products, fish and vegetables. Great for a good breakfast and shopping at home.

One of my favorite places in Innsbruck when it comes to either buy fresh fish and eat at the fish grill bar. The scenic view of the alps of Innsbruck while enjoying the mouth watering fresh fish grill with a glass of chilled Bavarian beer, what else do you need? A truly incomparable experience!

I lived in an apartment in the old town for 10 days and pretty much did all my food shopping here.
Every morning I was up early and enjoyed all the fresh brotchen and bread products at the bakery. In the afternoon I'd stock up on fresh pasta, meats and veggies for dinner.
I used the restaurant inside for free internet access while I sipped on a beer before returning home.
I even bought most all my groceries in the small market inside. My new love is d'arbo honig cremig. I hate to say it but I even went online and had 20 jars shipped to the US at over $10 each...ouch...but I'm addicted to the stuff!
Markthalle is a truly wonderful place!
