⭐Unique wood and iron workshops on site. Fans of handcrafted pieces would love this particular pocket of Christmas market. ⭐The charm also comes from the beautiful architecture as a backdrop. ⭐Be prepared for thick crowds though.

In the middle of square is Jan Wellem monument. The nonument, also called “The Rider” is located steps from Dusseldorf Castle where Jan Wellem lived.

I love the atmosphere of this Christmas market. Food is amazing... I had Speißbraten im Brot (pork sandwich), Reibekuchen (potato medallions) and some Glühwein. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Prepare for lots of people and queues.

Interesting market square with several store fronts and restaurants available. The old city hall is directly on the square. It gives an idea of the history and what it would have been like on centuries past.

Beautiful old town square.

Shares the square with the town hall, however not the first one behind the bars, a trend which I don't really get. Which doesn't allow you to admire it from close up.
