Marktschänke

My wife and I stayed at the Marktschänke in August 2024. We were greeted very kindly by Dona and accommodated in a snug little room in the heart of this small city. The rooms are a little small, but completely OK for a night's stay. Breakfast was OK, no buffet as usual in a hotel, but the scrambled eggs were prepared fresh on the spot. Everything what you need (cafés, baker, drug store) is a 2 minute walk away, a 24 h gas station, if needed, 14 minutes by foot. Anything that we requested (late check-out, sewing material, steaming iron) were given to us with a friendly smile. Dona even drove us to our car to save us taxi money! Customer service at it's best. If we ever come to Bad Dürkheim again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This trip was a last minute event that we didn’t plan for. We found this quaint little place via google maps. Although we didn’t have any reservations the staff that greeted us were superbly professional and accommodating. They informed us of the rooms that were available and explained where the parking garage was located. We stayed in the suit and our first impression of the room is that it was very clean and provided a more of an apartment feel. The beds seem very comfortable and the overall vibe was very relaxing. After a great night sleep we proceeded to the complimentary breakfast. It was the perfect start to our day. Bottom line..... We highly recommend this place.

The hospitality shown by gani and his team was excellent. Nothing was to much trouble he was the perfect house. Rooms were very clean and spacious, breakfast was good too. We will certainly return. Thank you gani 😀

We stayed in this hotel because of its location, which is right in the city centre. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Reasonable price. Great breakfast and private parking available. Very accommodating owner.

Very good restaurant. Large selection of food and really good tarte flambée. The staff was kind and the food came quickly. The prices are very reasonable. Food quality is definetly good.

Great food, huge selection, many vegetarian options, schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln was delicious.
