An absolutely fabulous cafe, with some amazingly sized portions which are delicious! The decor is distressed/schoolhouse, not overtaking the function of the place as there's a fair amount of space to sit, eat, read and natter. They also do takeaway for breakfast/lunch/early dinner.
The salmon quiche I had was very flavoursome and creamy, with a nice crust (not too crumbly). With two salads (tomato/cucumber and pea/green bean), it came in around £8. There was ample selection for a late-ish lunch on a Saturday, followed by a great cake (from The Real Patisserie - but I'm told they bake the majority of their cakes, tarts, pies etc).
If you value quality and flavour, then this is your place.
