MARMO Restaurant & Chalet

We stopped here after going to suspension bridge and glacier garden. The place is amazing!! Food was excellent and much better than Chez Vrony (also easier to get to). We had short rib (delicious) marinated / cooked for 24 hours and their pizza (as an appetizer) both were incredible. Homemade syrups for cocktails were the hit as well. View is great! I highly recommend this place if you are on Furi. There are also 2 cabins (5 people and 10 people) attached to the restaurant. I’d love to stay here next time

Boy am I glad we stopped here at the end of our hike. The views, the service, THE FOOD. incredible. It’s summer of 2025, I believe the menu is seasonal. We got the burrata with grilled peaches and the short rib with fries thanks to the server’s recommendation. 11/10 on presentation and flavor. This is one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip so far. Worth the try!

We had a quick brunch today while hiking with our family dog. The service was excellent, and so super friedly. The food was delicious, cauliflower and beetroot soup and cinnamon buns were superb :) they even make their own homemade tea from the local area...so super story to tell.

One of the best meals I’ve had so far on my trip, staff was very friendly. The view was gorgeous. Get the burger, buratta, and iced tea!!

Wonderful late lunch with some beautiful views. We went with the server's drink recommendation, Marmo Spritz, and it was delicious. My wife and I split a pizza, burger and pasta of the day (pepperdelle) so we could each try as much as possible. It was all fantastic. Would absolutely recommend for an out-of-the-way lunch spot!

Fantastic place for lunch on the slopes. The best meal we had all week by miles. Food was amazing, service was wonderful. Salads in particular were so delicious. Very quaint and great atmosphere. Easily spend a few hours here on their amazing terrace soaking up the sun. We particularly like this over the more ‘flashy party vibes’ of the higher bars and restaurants. Feels very authentic and everything of high quality. Thank you!

Lunch on the terrace in September A short walk from Furi (5 minutes) Beautiful view , beautiful terrace Burrata as a starter with grilled peaches …very strange dish, coming with a massive green salad and a weird presentation. (Check photo) Ribs with fries as a main dish ..that was really very good, well prepared and tasty 2 (tiny) glasses of white wine . (Arvine and blanc de noir) . Both pretty much tasteless Will I go back ? NO Unless I am craving ribs Better options are available in the area.

I spotted a rec to visit MARMO somewhere on the internet before our trip and was thrilled to get the chance to stop by on our way back from a quite cloudy Matterhorn Glacier Paradise visit. Alessandro took amazing care of us, and we enjoyed some incredible good food. The little touches were evident - from homemade buns and sauces to the only seasoned frites we got in CH 😂 I can’t wait to come back to Zermatt and MARMO
