Stopped in the store on a whim and had such a lovely experience! Such a cute and bright store with great products! Had a nice chat with the owner who was very sweet and helpful! Would highly recommend. 🫶🏻

I've shopped at Marne for years. I love the seasonal rotations the owner, Angela, picks out. There's always a variety of things to browse - clothing, accessories, jewelry, and even some home & beauty items My fave - The owner always posts her new arrivals on her instagram story (@shopmarne) and regularly does try ons with outfit ideas. Much more fun than just browsing a website, and she'll describe how clothing fits and feels which is super helpful if ordering online

My whole life I have been allergic to almost every cute sweater~ (wool, alpaca, cashmere) Today I found a truly amazing store perfectly curated, trendy, & for the first time ever, I didn’t need to read every fine print tag in every garment, because they all look great, feel great, & are all animal free in this shop! Today I bought my first sweater. Thanks Angela, I can’t wait to visit Marne’ again soon :)

MARNē is a brilliant little shop in Des Moines’ East Village. Tucked between restaurants, coffee, music venues and the best clothing boutiques in the entire city. The owner thoughtfully curates a collection of responsible, sustainable, and cutting edge brands. Word is there’s also a really kind of amazing pop-up shop in the back too with premium vintage items from all over the World!

Angela (the owner) is an absolute gem! I’ve shopped here for a couple of years now and am consistently impressed with the selection MARNē offers. I feel like it’s hard to find elevated pieces that are trendy but still classic/timeless and MARNē does that so well! I also appreciate MARNē’s emphasis on sustainable fashion.

Shopping at Marne is an exceptional experience. Staff are beyond helpful, accommodating, and honest about fits. The selection of goods are socially and environmentally conscious. Everything I've purchased at Marne makes me feel confident and cute. Marne's social media presence is a plus, too - very communicative and excellent at keeping shop lovers in the know. Worth a follow!

Boutiques like this fuel my soul. High quality, sustainable clothing; pops of color mixed with earthy pieces; plant-based nail polish (what?!). Owner was super friendly. Can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in town!

Best assortment of AGOLDE denim in the city. The buyer has an eye for thoughtful, high-quality capsule wardrobe pieces. Always walk out with a new pair of denim when I pop into MARNe.
