We stopped for the night on our way from Lefkas to Athens. The hotel is surprisingly impressive and well kept. The lady at the desk was very welcoming and pleasant. We liked the room, the roof top, and the treatment at the spa. Breakfast was good.

We spend a weekend in the hotel. Room was clean, amenities were more than enough, comfy beds. We also had lunch there, service was excellent (they accommodated our requests for salt free dishes), breakfast did not have endless options but was delicious and had variety. Its location is very satisfactory. Will stay there again if we visit the area in the future and I will definitely try the spa.

The hotel is very nice with polite and friendly staff. The rooms are very good and clean. Additionally, the hotel's location is relatively good, not too far from the central square of Agrinio (about a 10-minute walk). The only observation I have is regarding the breakfast. For a hotel of this caliber and its prices, the breakfast is poor and needs improvement. Lastly, it has a beautiful roof garden, especially enjoyable in the evenings.

Very good Hotel in the center of Agrinion. Clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast although could be improved, good quality of food in the restaurant, good quality of drinks. Have heard good words for the Spa but didn’t have the opportunity to visit it. I had time only on Sunday which was closed.

Fantastic hotel, me and rick we’re lucky enough to have separate rooms, which helped us quite a bit especially after a long 8 hour trip from Athens. Pretty much in the city Centre that was useful especially for me as I got to experience Agrinios culture and people. Unfortunately rick was feeling a bit under the weather but was feeling very comfortable on the bed which were soft, and enjoyed the meals from the room service menu.

Beautiful, comfortable, absolutely clean and new. Very helpful staff with high English speaking level. The spa service is truly wonderful. Amazing breakfast, great menu options for food and drinks. The roof garden's view is one of a kind, both in the morning and in the night. Although Marpessa Hotel is located in a rural city, it is surprisingly way superior than many other hotels in Athens. I totally recommend Marpessa Hotel for either staying or having a meal and a drink.

It’s midnight on a Sunday. We’ve just returned from a late coffee with friends and are hungry. |Faced with a very early departure and a 4 hour drive to Athens we ask at the Bistro if the kitchen is still serving food. |We are told it’s not so we retire to our room. No sooner has the door closed than reception is on the phone to apologise. The barman misunderstood and fears he misled us. The chef will be happy to serve us. |We return to the bistro and have a nice salad. |How many other hotels will go to those lengths to accommodate clients. |Which is why I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone going to central Greece.
