The only good thing about this place is the location. Very close to the casinos. The rooms were congested and the bedsheets were unclean. The complimentary breakfast they provide ìs 2 pieces bread and an omelet. For the price we paid the stay was totally not worth it.

Terrible experience. Rooms are dirty and very small , pillow and blankets can't be used . Helpers don't listen , owner gives excuses all the time. 2000 for 1 night is not worth here. Glasses kept were dirty , they never cleaned after one person leaving. Terrible people ,never faced such a issue

I stayed at Marquito's Guest House for two nights in November 2024 during IFFI Goa with a friend, and unfortunately, our experience was highly disappointing. The hospitality was terrible, with staff appearing clueless about handling basic issues. For instance, there was a cockroach in our room, but they neither provided repellents nor addressed the problem themselves. The room was cramped, and the photos online were very misleading. The space was poorly maintained, with the twin room being so small that it felt suffocating. Even the bed sheets were unclean, with visible stains on them, and no extra blankets were provided, making our stay even more uncomfortable. The bathroom taps were leaking, and we received no proper instructions on using the hot water. There was a complete lack of communication from the management, leaving us unsure about many things, including the breakfast we had booked. Since no instructions were given, we ended up eating outside. The overall maintenance of the property was poor, and the space felt congested and unwelcoming. Considering the price we paid, which was not cheap, the experience was far below expectations. I would not recommend this guest house to anyone seeking a comfortable or hassle-free stay in Goa.

We checked out early because there were bed bugs and our bodies were a painting canvas for them, which we kept finding out throughout the days as we travelled around, like a treasure hunt for where the new bites were going to pop out. The bed sheets and the duvet cover were dirty with old stains marked permanently on them. This was after we got them changed as soon as we saw the older dirtier ones. The toilet seat was dilapidated, paint chipping out of it, but it was clean and usable. The scooter rental that the guest house's staff arranged for us made our stay in Goa extremely difficult. This rental guy first handed us a scooter whose number plate was illegal. After driving around it for a day he had the—I don't even know what to call it—good sense, I think, to ask us to change it for a legal one. Because we were on a tight schedule—despite the inclination to not have to deal with this person again—we exchanged the scooter after checking its registration validity online and checking all its paperwork. The scooter stopped mid road, in the middle of the night, and wouldn't start. This guy didn't pick up call, but returned it in the morning, by the time we had parked it where it had stopped, and we had, with some difficulty, managed to haul a cab back. The staff was generally very humble and kind, but that couldn't account to much when everything in the Guest House generally fell apart. The only thing that was good for staying at this place was the location, had pretty bars and restaurants around.

Worst experience ever, running a scam in the name of booking, paid 5400 for rooms and still expecting more money from us. They say its a glitch from booking service, we asked for a full refund and they were not giving that also. They wanted us to pay extra amount or leave the full amount. They should change their Hotels name from Marquitos to SCAM..!!!!

I stayed at Marquito's Guest House with a friend for two nights in November 2024 during IFFI Goa, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The hospitality left much to be desired. The staff seemed completely unprepared to address even basic concerns. For example, when we found a cockroach in our room, no effort was made to provide a solution—no repellents, no action. The room itself was incredibly disappointing. It was far smaller than the misleading photos online suggested, and the cramped space felt suffocating. The twin room was poorly maintained, with visibly stained bed sheets and no extra blankets provided, making our stay even more uncomfortable. The bathroom was another major issue. The taps were leaking, and there were no clear instructions on how to use the hot water. This, coupled with a complete lack of communication from the management, added to the frustration. Even though we had booked breakfast, no details were shared about where or how to get it, leaving us with no choice but to eat elsewhere. The overall state of the property was subpar, with poor maintenance and a congested, uninviting atmosphere. For the price we paid—which was far from budget-friendly—this was a deeply disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend Marquito’s Guest House to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-organized experience in Goa.
