Where to Eat, Drink, and Stay in Marrakech Right Now

"A collection of riads housed in century‑old Moroccan houses owned by an international hospitality group; the properties are centrally located, offer spacious, beautifully tiled rooms with local fixtures, and combine professional service with a warm, personal touch, while on‑site dining is highly regarded." - Brian Freedman

Staying in Riad Blanc of the Angsana Riads Collection was really an amazing experience for all our senses! After a warm welcome with a tea ceremony we got to figure out which oriental scent we liked the most so our pillows would get that scent. Our room was situated in a beautiful little city palace and we had the best nights ever sleeping abroad! The breakfast is a moment of joy while having a good time sitting in the cosy patio. In the evening one can go for a real discovery of colours and taste, every plate  served is candy for the eye and delicious in many different ways. Last but not least, all the staff members are so kind and helpful. They meet all your needs and take away your sorrow so one will have the best time ever staying in Marrakech! We can only recommend this very nice and even magical Riad!

Lovely quiet spot in traditional setting in Medina but well located to get to main square. Really appreciated the free mobile and made great use of Google maps! Hotel charming- very clean and elegantly decorated with little nooks to relax in. Huge bathroom and wonderfully comfortable bed. Good breakfast in lovely setting. But the best bit are the staff. They work well as a team and manage to achieve a perfect balance of attention to detail, being discreetly in the background yet making you feel part of a close family. Amazing experience

We have just spent 3 nights in Riad Tiwaline, just 30m from the main Riad Si Said where we were warmly received and had great breakfast each morning. Our room was excellent, well appointed and very calm. To quote - our Riad was our home for our stay and we could relax in the seating area or take in the evening sunset on our roof terrace. The staff are so warm, polite and have a wonderful sense of humour. The location is perfect, slightly away from the main bustle of the souks. The Riad provides you with a phone equipped with Google maps, which was indispensable during our first few days. WiFi was also good in the room. We would highly recommend the place.

My Partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in November, and we cannot fault this Riad at all.||Before we left, the communication from the Riad was exceptional. They offered hotel pick up and drop off, and the driver was waiting for us on our arrival.||When we reached the Riad, Soufian offered us some Moroccan mint Green tea and biscuits and gave us a history of the riad, and the area, and great tips on what to do and see. ||The Riad itself is over 500 years old, and have been beautifully restored. ||One fantastic touch the Riad offers, is a mobile phone that you can hotspot from so you don't have to worry about buying a sim, or data plans for your trip. On the phone it has all the contact numbers you may need, and Soufian is available for any questions you may have. ||We had dinner at the Riad two nights, the food was excellent, and the team were so friendly and welcoming. The Riad is a wonderful Oasis to escapem the bustling city.||We also had a massage included in our booking and the masseuse was excellent. ||THe rooms were beautiful, we had one with the garden view, and really had a wonderful Morrocan charm. We had a dip in the pool too, where we were brought the Morrocan green tea to drink while we relaxed. ||All in all - this is customer service at it's best, the team genuinely couldn't have done more to make our stay better. They laughed with us, and made us feel so welcome and shared wonderful stories about Moroccon culture! ||The Riad is siuated in the Old town, it's about a 20-30 min walk from the Medina, but all the roads were really safe walking around, and was lovely soaking in the sights and sounds of an incredible city! ||Thanks a million for making our stay so amazing! :)

Excellent service from moment of booking. Suggestions given on sight-seeing and trips which were extremely useful and booked for us by the Hotel. Warm welcome and the beautiful architecture and furnishings of the various riads were much appreciated. Excellent restaurant serving Moroccan dishes and wine. A highlight was learning to cook a tagine, flatbreads, etc and then eating the results in the restaurant! It was a lot of fun! The riads are ideally situated close to the Bahia Palace and the souks.

On 25th October 2025, we got married in Riad Si Said and what an unforgettable experience all thanks to this amazing riad, the staff and the wonderful homely feel of this place. We stayed for 7 days in total, our friends and family stayed for 4 days and everyone had an incredible experince. The staff are the most wonderful and incredible people I have met on my travels, from the multiple Mohammeds (multiple spellings), Aziz, Souki, Syeed, Nadia, Sabah, Fatima to the door staff, chefs and cleaners - everyone is so kind and welcoming. The attention to detail is 5 star and service beyond expectations. Si Said is a stunning Riad over 300 years old, fantastic rooms which are beautifully decorated and a calm oasis in a bustling city. The food in incredible and all our wedding guests said it was one of the best meals they had in Marrakesh. Breakfast is a wonderful experience for your taste buds (Tagine eggs is a must) and they go the extra mile with service (my fiance before the wedding had a sore throat) and they made her a wonderful tea remedy to help. I can not speak highly enough of the riad and the people who work here, they created an unforgettable experience for me and wife as well as the guests. This is our Marrakesh home and this is the only place we will now stay when visiting Marrakesh (this was our 5th time). We have always had fantastic service in previous Riads but this place is on another level. The location is perfect, 5 minutes from everywhere and excellent value for money. Very clean and a quiet place to rest tired legs and enjoy a mint tea by the relaxing pool! If you are on a city trip to Marrakesh this place is perfect, if you are getting married here, this place (with the incredible Sabah who I could write a whole 5 star review for as well) is the most idilic and magical place to get married in. Until next time Si Said!

My partner and I stayed at one of their riads a few weeks ago for a week, everything was perfect and it made our holiday amazing🥰. Great location to all the main sites within walking distance. The riad has a nice and calm atmosphere and beautifully decorated, you can easily relax in it all day. Breakfast was a pure delight, loved the fresh juice and coffee and the local delicacies. We also had dinner once and it was definitely high quality cuisine, very tasty, and beautifully cooked. Attention to detail is a priority in this place and it makes all the difference. All staff were fantastic, attentive, helpful, and a true reflection of Moroccan hospitality. Would definitely recommend and hope to return here again in the near future❤️!;

We have just come back from our trip and stayed at Riad Blanc. We were part of a wedding party and had two of the Riads booked out. The room was exceptional! spacious, clean, gorgeous decor it was perfect. Every single member of staff was amazing and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was superb! |It’s situated in a perfect location for exploring! In the centre but just outside the hustle and bustle so you could enjoy the quiet when you wanted to. |We enjoyed taking a cup of tea and snacks up to the roof terrace in an evening and taking in the surroundings. Would highly recommend staying here for your trip!
