It is modern and nice/clean looking. But, some staff – including those at booths like the SIM card counter – can be unhelpful. During busy seasons, the airport can get quite crowded, with long queues for passport control and security. Also very limited food and drink options.

Clean and a relatively small airport. Nicely designed and has a modern look and feel. On arrival, there was a long wait for passport control, and it was a lengthy process (for Indian passports) where we were taken to a different room for verification. Departure process was smooth and quick.

Smaller than other airports, just like one in my hometown Split. Very well organized, all the staff are so helpful and kind. They have a great duty free zone, EUR prices, paying in cash or credit/debit card. Clean toilets and very large waiting room areas and departments. Boarding is organized prior to the passenger seat, they get 2 lines. Taxi is just in front, at the parking lot and you pay at the box office right away (also cash and credit/debit card, then you get your number of a taxi and a receipt). So you don't have to bargain about the price inside with the driver.

It is amazing and welcoming. When you enter the airport, you will find departures and arrivals. It's easy to access, and they are separated easily. In this place, you'll find beautiful architecture with pictures of the country (Morroco) and their flag with a green star and red background. Attijariwafa Bank is heavily promoted here, and you will run into many of their adverts. When you step outside, you will see the pick-up lanes.

Going by some of the experiences shared on social media we were expecting long queues at every turn but it really wasn’t like that at all. Both quick and efficient on entry and exit of the country, baggage claim & security. With just one terminal it’s a relatively small airport with literally only one shop on the check-in side and the rest airside. There’s a couple of places to eat mainly serving sandwiches and a couple of duty free shops. There’s a message place airside too but it’s quite expensive - €35 for 15 minutes. Euros and other international currency is the preferred currency too airside not local MAD. The airport itself is modern, beautifully designed, reflecting local cultural influences and easy to navigate. It is kept clean and has plenty of toilets. There is one dedicated smoking area in departures.

I was transiting through Marrakech Airport on my way to Egypt and had 3 phones with me. Although I never entered Morocco with them, customs confiscated them and asked for an exaggerated storage fee: • 4 to 20 days: 4% • 21 to 30 days: 7% • 31+ days: 14% Also, the airport lounge was closed, and the air conditioning was poor, making the wait uncomfortable. The only positive thing was the kindness of some Moroccan staff who tried to help.

Wide open spaces, signage in multiple languages, helpful staff. Poor air-conditioning but cooler than outside in July. Check-in opened 3 hours before our UK flight, quick and painless. Didn't need a paper boarding pass pre-printed. Had to exchange remaining Moroccan Dirhams before security because there are no exchange places afterwards. Once past security, prices are in Euro and Dirhams but you can only spend Dirhams at the food shops, not others. Card payments accepted in Euro

It’s clean, not fully renovated but I think much better than Casablanca airport which is outdated. What I like the most was the entrance/front architecture, I certainly love it. It’s super easy to get a taxi once you get out. You go to the booth where you pay for it, then they give you a ticket with a taxi number and you head to the parking across from it, really easy. It’s about $14-15 USD from the airport to the Medina airport. Welcome to Marrakesh!!
