Marrakesh Menara Airport

A quite decent airport, the architecture and design stands out compared to others international airports. Friendly staff and it was smooth to go through. But I also visited off season. Taxis and car rentals just outside the exit. Very close to the rest of the city. Accessible and safe

It is a small and quite clean airport, a small playground for the little ones, a few shops and restaurants and a smoking area. On the other hand, it is very poorly organized. Be prepared to stand in line at baggage claim, at ticket check, at security check in, at passport check and after all this you are checked again if you have a pen scribble on your ticket. I understand that as many employees as possible need to be paid, but at least the paid ones should not be there to rub our nerves as tourists… First and last time through this airport

Heard so many horror stories about this place, and never experienced a single one of them. Staff were helpful, especially when asked for help. The airport is beautiful and I wish I had arrived sooner to take more of it in. I was over the moon to find a Starbucks inside and the coffee was incredible. There's even a smoking area once you are through all of the security. The duty free shops are out of this world! Cannot wait to visit again!

the airport is large and in some parts beautiful. entry was easy and wait wasn’t long in the morning. aeroport bus for 30 dh or u can take taxi or the infamous indrive. exit took a bit longer. and at the gate for delta they do security again but extensive. so annoying

It is a very modern and cleen airport. I really liked it. They told us it can take long at the border control but it went very fast for us. You can find many stray cats there. They are cute but I don't kmow of you can pet them. Go to Al Barid bank in the departure area if we want to change your money for morrocan dirhams. Once you get out of the arrival hall the security will not let you back in.

The airport is of a decent size, but in terms of facilities it was quite disappointing. There were very limited options for food and coffee, and most places were closed by 9pm. There were no proper announcements, and when our flight was delayed, there was no information displayed on the screens. The check-in staff were unnecessarily difficult. Overall, flying from Marrakesh Airport with kids was not a good experience.

As tainted by some, it's probably the most impressive African airport that you'd see. Emeshed in trimmings and artesque of patterns, the artistry behind every sight you behold makes you want to have a second look

After landing, we were brought to the terminal by a bus. Thankfully due to the cloud cover, it was still a nice 20 degrees. The queue was also relatively short since the flight was considered early. Customs asked us the usual questions of what we worked as and where we were staying. After doing our thumb prints, we were through. We also got to change some Moroccan Dirham using Euro at the rate of 1 Euro to 10.16 Dirham. This was much better than the 7.8 Dirham that we were offered at the Lisbon airport. On this, we noted that at the train station, the exchange rate was slightly higher at 10.8. However, we were still glad to have changed the amount since we needed it for the bus ride to the city...
