We went here due to a timeshare presenation and got 3 nights at a significant discount, so take this review with that in mind. However, even with this perk, I still can't give this resort a full five stars.
The resort is very large and it'll definitely help if you have a car to get around. There are bikes in some areas around the resort to use (we didn't use them), but it's a lot easier to get to the front desk or wherever you need to go around the resort if you have a car since walking in the heat can be pretty chellenging. Also, they seem to have quite a few amenities which is nice. We never had the opportunity to use them since we were at a theme park when we stayed there, but whenever we drove around, it looked like some people were using them.
Also, the 2 bedroom rooms are very large and spacious. We stayed here with a total of 7 people and were quite comfortable since there was so much space. It's nice that they have a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and also a full size washer/dryer in the room. We used them all.
I think the downside for me regarding this hotel is that even though you're somewhat close to Disneyworld, due to all the traffic, it's still going to take you some time to get there. Also, it seems this hotel might cater to those going to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure, which is good if you plan to go there. But I would also say that the clientele at this hotel is also closer to the clientele of Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure . It's hard to describe, but it feels less family oriented (especially if you have young kids), then if you were to stay at a resort on Disney property or even a hotel closer to Disneyworld. In other words, I didn't think the guests at this hotel were the same as when we stayed on Disney property if that makes sense.
Anyway, if we were to pay full price, we definitely would not stay here as there are better hotels in the area for families.
