I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage for September 6, 2025, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. I had called the evening before after seeing a sign in the Moana elevator, and spoke with Jacozmine (spelling?) who was wonderful—friendly, efficient, and thoughtful in recommending I book a room massage for privacy and minimal outside noise.||I arrived 15 minutes early, completed the paperwork, and was greeted by my massage therapist (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name). She was attentive and asked which areas I wanted to focus on. I mentioned my shoulders, upper and lower back, calves, and feet.||The first 45 minutes—while I was face down—were outstanding. She applied excellent pressure and attention to detail on my back, followed by thorough work on my calves. It was easily some of the best back work I’ve ever had.||However, once I flipped over, the flow seemed to lose momentum. There were a few pauses, and she spent nearly 10 minutes circling back to my head and temples multiple times. While relaxing, it felt repetitive and not what I had requested. Despite being so close to my ankles and calves, she never massaged my feet beyond a brief warm towel rub. Since I had specifically asked for footwork, this was disappointing.||The overall experience was still very good, especially the first half, and worth noting that the therapist clearly has skill. For a $260, 90-minute service, though, I expected a more consistent session start to finish.||I’m rating this 3 stars—the first 45 minutes were phenomenal, but the second half lacked direction and missed key areas I had requested. v/r, Dr. Ken King
