Marshall Meadows Manor House Hotel

Fabulous stay in this lovely hotel. The building, grounds, room, food, and staff were all amazing. My husband and I stayed in a classic room (#16 with a sea view and window seat!) which was really nice - more so than some of the upgraded rooms we have stayed in in other hotels. The whole stay was confortable and pleasant, and the staff were so attentive. Storm Amy affected the electricity on our first night, which turned out to be an adventure with many residents gathered in the bar by candlelight with free drinks and sandwiches. Such a lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly, and I can imagine the weddings here are fabulous. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Very easy to find and conveniently located just off the A1. Well off the road so very peaceful and quiet with a 10 minute saunter to get yourself onto the top of the cliffs overlooking the sea. Plenty of parking close to the hotel.|Check in was simple and efficient. Our room was clean and very well presented with spacious walk in shower, good quality bed linen, TV and tea/coffee making as you would expect.|Dinner was taken in pleasant dining room with good service. Dinner menu covered all types of food and the bottle of wine we had was very good and reasonably priced.|Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

We are just back from a two night stay taking advantage of the autumn special DBB with cocktails on both nights. The room was very clean spacious and elegant with robes and slippers supplied plus complimentary drinks and snacks in the fridge. |The food was well portioned and good quality. The staff were amazing and attentive we had brought our dogs and on arrival in the room were dog bowl's and toy's and treats for them.|There are plenty of places to visit in the area and loads of walks.

Had a super time at the hotel during our 2 night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer ! The hotel was beautiful throughout. Our rooms were lovely and the bar and dining áreas really warm and welcoming. The food we had was excellent. All the staff were really great. Overall a really good visit .|Great visits to Cragside, Holy Island and Alnwick all added to making the visit extra memorable.

We recently got married at Marshall Meadows and everything was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful and our photos are stunning. The food was delicious and our guests all commented on how much they enjoyed it. The service provided by every member of staff is exceptional, they made us feel so welcome and they couldn't have done more for us.

We got married here 2 weeks ago and everything was outstanding.|The venue itself is beautiful and exclusive use for our family and friends just makes it more special.|All the dishes we chose for our wedding breakfast were superb and the breakfast the next morning delicious.|What really makes the hotel stand out is the staff, the service they provide is exceptional. Every member of staff is so welcoming and genuinely pleased to see you, we honestly had the most perfect wedding day and I'd do it all again tomorrow if I could.

My friend kindly gifted me a one nights stay dinner bed & breakfast in the stable suite including a hot tub. From Check in to Check out the whole experience was an absolute pleasure. Reception Staff was extremely pleasant, friendly & efficient. We were then taken to our suite which was to be our home for the night. All I can say is wow beautiful room, complimentary drinks & snacks & of course the hottub with a temperature of 40 degrees. We then ate in the restaurant. Food was delicious with an excellent choice of different starters, mains & desserts. Then back to our accommodation to continue making use of the hot tub. A very enjoyable experience sitting in a very warm hot tub gazing at the stars. Very much looking forward to returning

Good location, just off the A1, 5 mins drive from the town centre. The surrounding area is a farm and static homes. It's on the coastal path. There's plenty of parking. The rooms are somewhat noisy, as you can hear other rooms through the thin walls. The clamping party (directly outside) were also enjoying themselves fairly late. The staff were very friendly but not particularly well trained, so it's hard to be critical but ultimately the service was slightly lacking. The food was very good, generous portions of a good quality. The rooms were spacious, albeit the bed was on the small side.
