Marshall Meadows Manor House Hotel

Just had a 3 night last minute break at this hotel and it was 1st rate . Every single member of the staff made this break. Chatty friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant 2 nights and the food was delicious. Lounge and bar area very comfortable . Lovely cliff top walk for after a hearty breakfast. Good location for trips out... Had throughly good time.

My Partner and I had a fantastic 2 night stay in this hotel. We could have literally moved in. We had a room with a Hot Tub, which I couldn't recommend this more. The room was massive, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. ||All the staff were excellent and service was first class from the minute we arrived. We ate in the hotel at breakfast and dinner both nights, the food was fantastic and piping hot, lots to choose from.||Some nice touches - ||Staff member took us to our room|Mini bar was stocked up|Breakfast was Al a Carte with lots options|Nice Toiletries||We would definitely stay here again.||Craig &Kat

Stayed here for two nights in Dec and attended the Christmas party night. The place itself is beautiful with stunning grounds, good for nice walks and only a very short drive into Berwick town centre. The rooms and spacious and well maintained and clean, with everything you need provided toiletry wise. Very comfy beds always guarantee a goods nights sleep never any noise. Fridge is always stocked with water/juice on arrival and coffee machine/kettle as well. The party night was great fun well organised and food was delicious. Breakfast has a great choice something to suit everyone, Bar is nice and relaxing for chilling out with a drink. Staff are always super friendly and nothing is ever a bother if you ask. I would definitely return to marshals for a stay again and would recommend to friends/family.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The lovely staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is exquisite - so fresh and full of flavour. The surroundings are calm and peaceful. I adore staying here. Thank you everyone for another memorable couple of days 🥰

Stayed for our second New Years event. Hotel is in a great location a few miles from Berwick. You can walk to Berwick on the coastal path which is a great experience and also to the most northerly point of England on the Scottish border. A taxi from Berwick was c£10 if you want to try the towns pubs, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and tidy. Rooms great. Food at the NYE event was average, but when having breakfast or dinner the food is very good. However service can be a bit slow but this is probably because the place was full over the NYE period. Overall a great place to stay.

Lovely hotel, we stayed one night and had a beautiful 3 course meal, and a nice break. The rooms are beautiful, and the bed is the most comfortable bed we've slept in. The food was exquisite, and each staff member who we spoke to were friendly and chatty. Perfect for a break away from everyday life.

My recent weekend stay at Marshal Meadows, just outside Berwick-upon-Tweed, was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday. The location is a true highlight—less than 10 minutes from the town centre, yet it feels wonderfully secluded. We loved the easy access to nature, especially the brogues beach walk and the simple 20-minute walk to the English/Scottish border. ​The dining experience was great, especially the breakfast. While main plates like the "Meadows breakfast" and the Eggs Benedict are served in smaller portions, this actually complements the fantastic all-you-can-eat continental spread. The continental buffet is loaded with high-quality options, including fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, and yogurt. It’s a smart system that allows you to enjoy a variety of delicious food without overdoing it. A truly memorable stay!

Faultless . Our 2nd visit and expectations exceeded again. James the GM sets the bar high in terms of staff recruitment and training, evidenced by a genuinely happy guest focused team all pulling in the same direction. A genuine warm welcome from every staff member during our 4 day stay. Great walks from the hotel including to Berwick or a 5 minute car journey. Close proximity to the spectacular North Sea and coastline, a few hundred metres from the Scottish border and A1 , which is not visible and not heard. Housekeeping excellent, all public rooms comfortable clean and relaxing with pleasing decor. Toby the head chef and his deputy Callum to be applauded for the quality and presentation of each and every course at dinner. Michelin Plate standards in my experience. Thank you everyone
