Breakfast dreams come true! Such a cozy spot — moody lighting, rain outside, and that peaceful café hum in the background. The avocado toast? Next level. Crunchy bread, creamy smashed avo, sweet cherry tomatoes, and that soft whipped topping (whatever it was, I’m obsessed). And the coffee — smooth, rich, not bitter at all. Just perfect.

Discovered this a month ago through recommendation and it's quickly become our new favourite! We have been a few times now and have tried everything from the pasta to pizzas, pastries to paninis. It's all delicious. The manager, Rudolph, is lovely - very considerate, polite and attentive. There seems to be a constant stream of diners and takeaway customers. We can't fault the food or service. Definitely worth a visit!! Wish we'd discovered it earlier.

came close to opening so i got a very fresh almond croissant, still slightly warm on the outside. very delicious frangipane, generous portion and the pastry is nice and buttery without being sickly.

Absolutely delicious food! Ordered a collection and the pizza was top quality but will definitely return to dine in. The restaurant was buzzing and had a great atmosphere. Staff were so nice, which matched the delicious meal. Really excited to go back and will be ordering again for sure.

I had the pleasure of dining at Marta Osteria recently, and I just have to give a huge shoutout to Rudolph, who truly went above and beyond. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel incredibly welcome, like old friends rather than just guests. He puts the H in hospitality, no doubt about it. It’s rare to come across someone so genuine, attentive, and passionate about making people feel at home. Keep it up, amigo... you’re a star! 🌟

As ever, Marta is quality food, service and buzz at well balanced prices. If you can be served by Rudolf (or Randolph, apologies mate :), all the better. One of the best family evenings I’ve had assisted by Marta and they’re going the extra mile for our daughter. Alex

TERRIBLE. I have dined at Marta many times over the years including for birthday celebrations and have always loved it but it has changed. 4 tables only on a Saturday night, no vibe. Service very lacking considering only 4 tables. No warmth or feeling of hospitality. Food terrible. We sent back the calamari because it was unchewable. The potatoes were undercooked and had absolutely no flavor. Everything else was just average. I actually thought it must have changed ownership and asked the waiter but no it hasn’t. To top all this off my friend and I have gastro issues (to put it nicely) today after this meal.

This, I think, is my favourite restaurant in Sydney. Tucked away in Rushcutters Bay, my family and I, love everything about it. Simple, delicious, fresh Italian food you won't see on many menu's. I know there's so much more to their offerings, but seriously, how good can pizza actually get? Well damn, it can get better than you even expect. With their delicious bean salad, and the most amazing rustic rocket salad...perfection. And the wine list is a killer. Come eat at this wonderful restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
