Amazing place. Several hotels in the area have arrangements for free entry tickets. Make sure to ask your hotel desk. Otherwise it's about 600-800 pesos overall per person for two different fees including chair rental and what seems like a food and drink deposit 🤷. Everything is reasonably priced and delicious. Very visually appealing food, drinks, and atmosphere! There's a pool, upscale beach bar, and umbrella shaded beach chairs to find your preference. The drinks weren't very strong, but hey 🤷 nobody's perfect. Highly recommend!

5 Stars — A Hidden Gem at the Perfect Time! I had an amazing experience at Martina Beach! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the food? Next level. Do yourself a favor and order the Ribeye... trust me on this one. I went during a slower time of day, and I think I’ll always plan my visits around that now. I got the exact beach chairs I wanted, the breeze was perfect, and the sand was soft and beautiful. A peaceful, delicious, and scenic escape. Highly recommend!

Great cocktails, food was good too. Clean facilities. There are a few options to enter, we chose the 750 pesos one, out of that 500 is credit for food or drinks. The beach itself is not huge, and smelled like rotten eggs because of the sargassum. But if you can ignore that I think it’s a great beach club. Juan was our waiter. He was really kind and attentive. Thank you 🙏🏻

The good: I really enjoyed the music here, the view of the beach was magnificent if you got a good seat. The water was warm and clean, and there were jetski’s. The bad: service was the worst I received in playa del Carmen. We had to flag a server down if we wanted something, they didn’t check on us. we ordered drinks we never received, they only brought out the food which took a very long time. We order the drinks again, & they barely had alcohol (if they even put any at all). We get the bill and they charged us for both orders of drinks. Then the server comes out and insists we got both sets of drinks, and the manager says he’s going to run the cameras back to see if we were lying. Just us 2 spent over $200usd, so to be accused of lying to get $20 off the bill is ridiculous, especially after it was made clear y’all didn’t really want to serve us anyway, if the server did his job and checked on us, he’d know we never got the drinks. I have a video when we got the food *no drinks in sight* Don’t waste your money if you don’t want to be profiled, I’ll just say that. Also the beach stinks so bad!

The beach is nice and clean — probably the cleanest in Playa. The beach club offers comfortable chairs, but it costs 150 pesos plus a 500-peso minimum food spend. The food is just okay, and service is quite slow. Staff seem disorganized and have trouble keeping track of guests and payments. They search bags upon entry, and no outside food or drinks are allowed. Great for the beach, but the experience could be better.

This is a very good place to come and expend the day. Staff is very friendly. Food is exceptional. You need to try the ceviche with habanero tatemado and totopos. Our server, Michel was really good. He was always asking if we need something. The beach is awesome.

Martina Beach Club is in a great location, close to the main strip. The beach is beautiful, white sands and the ocean was warm. The beach itself is public, the beach club is roped off and is private to paying guests. You have to pay extra to use the pool area....and if you like loud music, dancers, bachelor/bachelorette party vibe....the pool area is perfect for you. That's where we spent our time. The DJ was fire! The food is basic and fine, you don't go here for the food....it's all about the party atmosphere.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Martina Beach club. The service was excellent and the wait time was well within the acceptable range. I enjoyed my calamari, but the drinks were nothing special.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to chillax by the beach during our recent Playa vacay, and Martina was just a couple of blocks from our Airbnb so we headed over to check it out! The weather was hot and we were more than excited to grab a beach chair, catch some shade, and enjoy a few cold ones while we watched the beautiful Caribbean stretch out before us. We were greeted promptly at the entrance and given a few options. You can rent a beach-front chair for $10 (200 pesos) per person, with a required $50/ea minimum required to spend on drinks, food, etc. If you choose a beach chair in the third row or farther back, you only have to spend $40 on menu items. They also had large covered beds available to rent, or a "coveted" poolside spot could be reserved as well. The good: the view here is INCREDIBLE. You're right on the beach, and we didn't see a drop of the infamous seaweed that has been plaguing area beaches for months now. The beach club is roped off from the beach, so you aren't bothered by the beach vendors, but there's an an entrance/exit area to the club with direct beach access. We also loved the amazing and fast service we got from our server, who was quick to bring icy buckets of beer as quickly as we could drink them. We also got some food (my dude got a club sandwich and I got octopus tacos) which was pretty good but not the best we'd had on our foodie-centric trip. So...why the 3 stars? Two words: the music! Imagine the loudest, bass-heavy club music ever pounding in your head all day while you're trying to enjoy the beach. Even though the music was way over by the pool (probably at least 75' from where we were sitting) the music was SO incredibly loud it gave me a headache after awhile. I get it, the pool (which, tbh, was laughably tiny) was the "party" area full of beach bodies and dancing, but I feel like it would not have detracted from anybody's experience there to turn the music down enough that they could hear it, but the rest of us weren't rumbling to the beat. If you can stand the club music, I highly recommend Martina. If you'd rather have a more relaxing experience at the beach, there are other nearby clubs that seem to offer a quieter vibe.

Yelp
If you are in Playa for a good time, a short time, or a long time YOU HAVE TO GO TO MARTINA!!! This is my favorite beach club in Playa and I keep coming back! Depending on where you want to be seated on the beach the prices of the chairs will vary. If you want to go in the pool area you will also have to pay more. I highly recommend paying extra to be able to use their pool if you want to party. It's super fun in the pool area! Lots of dancing after the alcohol starts flowing!!! A portion of what you pay will go towards the food and drinks you order. I usually relax the first few hours I am at Martina then make my way to the pool area to dance!!! Come here to enjoy the wonderful Playa sun and do a little dancing if you want to. If you just want to lounge around and get a tan this is an awesome place to do that too!!! Wonderful beach club with amazing service!!!

Yelp
I've been here twice. First time for the day party in February, it was amazing! Second time, NYE event....it was so disappointing. Super unorganized, staff had no idea what they were doing, general manager was terrible trying to over charge and double charge, food took us 1 hour PER course. I will say the server was nice, food was good. My main food was given to me at 11:45 PM, only after we asked assertively. Gave us sparkles for midnight, weren't turned on at time. NYE event was $160 USD for the wait time and lack of organization, not worth it. Aside from main event cost it was Super overpriced, charged 150 USD for 3 drinks, 3 waters, 2 sodas. After party was so unorganized as well, seems that staff underestimated their abilities for such a big event. Day party highly recommended but expensive. Any other special event, skip out!

Yelp
Definitely a vibe! So first let me start by saying that this location is super cute and the DJ is lit but it depends on what type of music you like. I felt like they played mostly pop and Spanish music. I was looking for a more urban scene which they do have those there. They do have a location for this but I can't think of the name of it right now. But as far as Martina Beach Club we had to pay about $150 to $200 for entry, seating near the beach and to have access to the pool. As well as food drinks etc. We had a lot of money left over when we were ready to leave to go back to our Resort and it's mandatory that you use it. So we did order a couple of more items and asked if we can give the rest to the server. But if we had known beforehand we probably would have just gave him the rest of the money anyway towards his tip. He was amazing but I can't remember his name unfortunately sorry. Anyway I do recommend this if you want to do something fun and cute as far as a beach club just take your friends with you and you'll have a great time!

Yelp
It's a good spot to stop for a bite and great view. We had a nice lunch and actually had the best margarita here. The kids swam in the ocean and it was a great spot to watch and enjoy the views.

Yelp
WE GOT SCAMMED!!!!! Do NOT go here!!!! We were charged upfront for beach chairs and a food credit, which we paid with no issues. We ordered food and drinks, but because the sand was blowing ferociously in our face and food and drinks due to wind, we asked could we move closer to the water where the sand wasn't blowing. We were moved, but they never told us we had to pay more to move. When we got settled, we ordered another drink. A waiter came up to us and told us we went over our credit and would have to pay the difference. We also paid that with no issues. We ordered nothing else after that. As we got up to leave, another waiter runs up to us frantically saying we didn't pay. We looked at him puzzled, we had 3 receipts showing otherwise. We show them to him. Another worker comes up saying we owed $3500 pesos, but that didn't make sense, so we challenged them. All of a sudden, about 7 workers began to surround us. We were scared, and their bully tactic worked. We were forced to pay again. The workers were very nasty and intimidating, a complete switch from the fake nice act they had when we were there and spending our hard earned money. I will NEVER go or recommend this scam of a place!!! Almost ruined our vacation.

Yelp
Went here my birthday weekend. We had to spend $60-70 per person which was expected. The food was okay and drinks watered down but they have a great location. It's not as crowded in this area. Service is great and staff is beautiful

Yelp
Food was good. Service was good. Excellent location. All I had to do is just sit back and relax. Thank you for making my time spent on the beach amazing.

Yelp
Nice staff, very attentive. We got a hookah, nachos & drinks. We rented the chairs and sat in front of the beach. Good music, the pool area was also pretty cool. There was a nice crowd here. Not too packed. The nachos were delicious, we ordered wine & beer. No drinks, since I haven't had a strong drink from anywhere in Mexico yet. I've decided to buy my own liquor. They do have Wifi. Martina beach club is cool. I'll def come back to hang out again.

Yelp
This is a very fun beach club in Playa if you're looking for a party, they bring the vibes and you just show up ! The pool Cabanas are totally worth the price as you get a food & drink credit to use while you're in the pool! They have a dj & dancers, the beach is beautiful as well! I only ate French fries so can't speak to the food but our server was great and we had an awesome time!

Yelp
Easily my favorite place to go and visiting playa Del Carmen. They are the best beach club, the best pool party, the best dancers, the best atmosphere in general! I can't wait to come back at this is my favorite place to go whenever I want to have a exciting day.

Yelp
It's a great beach club with excellent ocean view. They don't have wifi so I will have to deduct a point for that reason.

Frida B.

Yelp
I've returned to this beach club year after year because it is beautiful and relaxing. One reason I love it so much is because in the early morning it is nice and quiet but as the day goes on the party begins. The pool vip section plays electronic music and have dancers with a pool party going! Very fun and brings in a younger crowd, yet not super crazy like spring break which makes it fun for adults of all ages. If you use a day bed or stay in the vip section you do get wifi which was a strong signal and fast! Lack of vegan options, good drinks. The day beds are very large and comfortable.

Yelp
Great food, great waiters (hi Pepe) and right on the beach, close to everything, they have a pool, beach umbrellas and lounging chairs, good drinks, what else does one need?

Yelp
Not a beach club - just loud, obnoxious, and expensive. Beach is totally wiped-out, so folks don't come for the beach, and they sure don't come for the food or watery drinks. These guys must have paid off someone to crank-it up like this in an otherwise quiet neighborhood. Won't last long.

F L.

Yelp
Best to avoid this one. I found the staff to be unfriendly and not trained for hospitality. Pricing was also a premium. There is better in Playa.

Dara C.

Yelp
A great spot for a day at the beach. The water is beautiful. We rented chairs under umbrellas. The waitstaff was friendly and really attentive. The food and drinks were delicious.

Shannon N.

Yelp
This is a great place to spend the day in Playa. Not nearly as crowded as the beach closer to the ferry pier. I'm not sure what the review is talking about - of course you have to pay to access the pool and chairs. This isn't a charity - it's a business. They charge very little for the access and the bathrooms are very clean. They don't crowd you in at this spot. Worth the few dollars it does cost to get in. If you like the idea of the other beach clubs but would rather have less people and more chill vibe, give this place a shot.

Stephen W.

Yelp
So noisy. They offend entire neighborhoods with their brain-draining music. Often with fewer than two dozen paying zombies there. They blast our doors off with the most lame music and hundreds of us are disgusted.

Hannah H.

Yelp
Music was so loud and not any good. Service was somewhat slow. Beers were cold but priced a little higher than other places (50 pesos). There were lots of spots available. Beach was unswimmable due to seaweed, although no fault of Martina. Just a strange place in general although I would be interested to see it when the beach is clean and the water is clear.

Noel C.

Yelp
First time visiting PDC and I walked by many beach clubs and tried some but so far, this is the best place I have found. The hostess very friendly and helpful, the cleanest restrooms, good food, prices very reasonable and the cheapest to rent your own chair for all day, the music very tasty and modern and hookah
