Quiet place but the mattress was as hard as a rock, I wouldn’t recommend if someone is used to sleeping on a soft mattress, I asked if they had a topper for the hard mattress and they said yes for and extra 170 baut, lol. We ended up leaving early and moving to the Hop hotel, much nicer mattress and better location.

I love the place because it is quiet, relaxing, rooms are clean and come as separated bungallows where many locals park their car. Rooms are spatious and covered in marble, but water kettle is missing. Nice hotel, but a bit off-center if you walk. As a foreigner, I was angry the first day because the inexperienced lady at the reception desk acted like she was a custom officer and copied each page of my passport with a visa stamp, zooming on it, instead of just printing a copy of my front page like all the other hotels in Thailand. I felt like she was doing too much (could be an infringement of privacy). So i only put 1 star on service.

1st Visit.... Not the Last = Value 4 $$'s
Room # 512 \ 1 x Night Stay \ Booked via Agoda
This Resort is 'value for your money'
We were passing thru from Mukdahan to Korat and wanted to break the journey at Surin.
The Martina Hotel did the trick very nicely.
What surprised us was how quiet at night the Resort is and also how well kept the rooms are.
Most hotels get tired and scuff marks but our room was excellent.
All staff interactions were friendly and check in was a breeze.
They have an onsite restaurant with indoor \ outdoor eating available, also open 18 hours a day!!
We would happily book and stay here again anytime in the future.

We used the Martina Hotel as a base to attend the MotoGP at Buriram, which was about 50 minutes away by car......no problem. The hotel itself was great although its a little way out of town. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was huge. A hairdryer and kettle are available on request. The staff were lovely - very friendly, helpful and efficient - and the food in the restaurant was really good and cheap. We shall certainly return one day.

Have stayed here twice this year. Three U.S. guests with me thought is was great. Pre booked on Agoda, check in was a one minute whiz. The rooms are actually duplex bldgs., with a private front parking space. Room is very very clean, large, all amenities, and the shower could hold a fair size party, plenty of HOT water. Have not found a better value in Thailand in 18 years (under Baht 600). The only problem is if you do not have transportation, it is a little out of town, (NW), 1.5 km from train station and 2.0 km from bus station. Enjoy Surin town & province. I always do!!! There is a survey below, mini refrig. yes. Stocked mini bar, no. 2 bottles free drinking water.

Room # 508 1 x Night booked via Agoda| |It is a delight to stay here - Clean & Tidy, Well Maintained Rooms and Great Staff.||This time we ate in the restaurant - attentive professional staff and the food was just as you would expect in a local Thai eatery - tasty and it all went!||For us there is NO Downside to staying here - easy to find on Google Maps, very very quiet location and well kept rooms.||We will book and stay here again for sure.||A solid 10 out of 10.......
