A Must-Visit Culinary Gem in South Goa – Martin’s Corner During our recent stay at Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort, one name kept coming up in every recommendation — Martin’s Corner. Though this wasn’t my first visit, the experience once again lived up to its stellar reputation. Martin’s Corner is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and beloved seafood restaurants in South Goa. Despite its popularity and high standards, the pricing is surprisingly competitive — often matching, if not beating, smaller local eateries in both cost and quality. What truly sets Martin’s apart is its consistent excellence: from the freshest seafood to the warmth in service and the unmistakable Goan charm in the air. We indulged in a delightful spread — Lobsters, Red Snapper, Squid, Prawns, and a variety of snacks that paired beautifully with our drinks. The seafood was cooked to perfection, each dish bursting with flavour and freshness. Their bar menu is extensive, and even the drinks are reasonably priced, making it an ideal place for a leisurely evening. What adds to the magic is the live music that fills the air as the sun sets, creating an atmosphere that’s both vibrant and relaxing. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a Bollywood celebrity or television star, as Martin’s Corner is a popular haunt for visiting actors and artists. In short, if you’re in South Goa and skip Martin’s Corner, you’re truly missing out on an essential part of the Goan experience. Whether it’s your first time or a repeat visit, this place never disappoints.

Our visit was a memorable evening filled with delectable cuisine and enchanting live music. Ambiance is thoughtfully curated, offering a cozy yet elegant setting that enhanced our dining experience. Live music added a delightful touch, creating a lively atmosphere without overwhelming conversation. Menu featured a diverse selection of dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience justified the cost. In summary, Martin's offers a harmonious blend of exquisite cuisine, captivating live music, and a charming ambiance, making it a worthwhile destination for those seeking a special dining experience.

Martins Corner, South Goa – A Nostalgic Gem with a Slight Miss I've been a loyal patron of Martins Corner for over 25 years now, and it’s safe to say this iconic spot holds a special place in my heart. Known for its authentic Goan cuisine and mind-blowing seafood, it has always been my go-to when in South Goa. The flavors have consistently hit the mark – from the perfectly spiced Goan curries to the fresh catch of the day, it’s a culinary experience that rarely disappoints. On my recent visit just 5 days ago, the food, as expected, was exceptional. The choris pulav was bursting with flavor (once it arrived), and the seafood was cooked to perfection. It’s that comforting, familiar taste that keeps drawing me back. However, I did feel let down by the service this time. Although the restaurant was busy i wouldunderstand if they missed my order once but no , my order was forgotten twice. First, the choris pulav never came with the rest of the food and only showed up 15 minutes later after I reminded them. Then, the dessert – which I was really looking forward to – was completely missed. After waiting another 15 minutes and seeing no sign of it, I eventually gave up and asked for the bill. For a place of such high repute, especially one I’ve loved for decades, this slip in service was disappointing. I sincerely hope it's just a rare off day and not a sign of declining attention to detail. That said, the food still remains unbeatable, and I’ll surely be back – though I do hope next time, the service matches the standards the kitchen continues to uphold.

Loved the food here. A mutton dish we ordered here was a bit tough. But the pork hit the spot. Also the atmosphere & vibe of the place is great. The live music added to the dining experience.

The name needs no introduction, popular place serving delicious food from many years. This time, we went for lunch on a hot summer afternoon and luckily found a table with out much wait. We placed our order and the food and drinks arrived in no time. I really liked Calamari Masala Fry, Tounge Roast, Veg Xacuti & Sausage Pulao. Below average: Fish & Chips, Fish Curry & Prawns Caldin The Urak based Cocktail: Goan Jungle Juice was fantastic & we repeated another round of the same. Among the deserts we tried, Bebinca with Icecream is the best.

Heard a lot about this place so me and my family travelled almost 30 kms for dinner here and I was not disappointed. We ordered plenty of items including chicken cafreal, thai chicken(green), king prawns grilled, goan bread, naan, aloo Gobi, tomato sauce spaghetti and a tiramisu for dessert. The chicken cafreal and tiramisu were amazing.

Iconic place that consistently delivers. The food is incredible, go for the piri lobster and chorizo sausages. It'll fill you up. Even their poi is fresh and tasty. Cocktails I'd recommend go to the bar and ask the bartender to make something for you based on your preferences.

Martin's corner is a must visit in South Goa. Located in a secluded area, the place offers ample parking. Food is extraordinary. Their chicken tikka is the best I've ever tasted. The Bar menu is also good. The vibe is really good
