My favorite hotel in Mons and one of my favorites anywhere. It is built inside the shell of the old convent and haa done a marvelous job of taking a large piece of history and preserving it as well as promoting modern Belgium culture. Well worth staying here but you must eat here as well. Probably the best steak frites I have ever had with a very large and well appointed dining area and bar.

Hotel was nice. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Only down side was we went for evening meal in the restaurant only to be told we couldn't have one because they had a big party in. Disappointed at this as I would have thought as a paying guest you would have been catered for. It wouldnt have been so bad but it was raining heavy and there was a thunderstorm going on. We had the choice of not eating or getting wet, in the end we went for getting wet. When we returned to the hotel other people were eating.

Incredibely beautiful hotel with poorly insulated rooms and staff that does not care. My neighbor came at midnight drunk and was shouting to telephone till 1AM. And no one cared to do anything about it. Come for the beauty of architecture. For business purposes stay away.

Being an old church one would think that such a building would bring joy and bright thoughts of heaven but unfortunately with all the black corridors, black carpets, black walls and low level lighting it felt more like a journey into pergatory. Very depressing rooms although friends had an excellent light and bright room whereas ours was in the roof space with no window to look out of other than skylights which I suppose were a view of the heavens at least.|Reception, dining and bar area very bright but staff very non commital and there simply to do a job with little or no reaction towards guests.|I was also concerned that the stairs which we always use were carpeted which in the event of an evacuation due to a fire were of concern. Fireproof material???|Our safe and fridge were non operational and were amused to note that the electrical leads to the power points were too far away to plug into. Excellent planning!!|On a positove note, our room at least was very quiet, bed comfortable, shower excellent. If the corridors were brightened up we would give it a higher rating.

Martin’s Dream Hotel is special. I’m not Belgian so I'm not sure if this is considered normal. The decorations and interior design are a bit too abstract for my taste. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful, and polite. Parking is limited but the hotel itself is right in the middle of Mons. Traffic can be a bit difficult during rush hour. The rooms are alright. I had a bad smell from my bathroom. I didn't complain about it because I was only going to sleep in the room. The amenities like the spa and gym are not very big. Especially the fitness room is limited in size and equipment. Breakfast is good. I would suggest adding a little fresh fruit but otherwise, it is okay.

We enjoyed our stay at Martin’s Dream Hotel. Our room was really uniquely decorated and fun! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. We liked that it was a short walk to the city center with lots of great restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from. We look forward to staying again!

This hotel is a short walk to the city center with numerous bars (~12) and restaurants. The rooms are clean and of recent renovation. The downstairs bar and dining area is exceptional as well. Breakfast was also plentiful in variety. The receptionist was very generous--he gave my diabetic coworker a free meal (not a snack) in advance even though his credit card didn't work. I offered to pay, and he insisted.
