Martin's Klooster Hotel

One of my favourite hotels in Europe in a modernized monastery. Classy but not stuffy hotel that has beautiful tudor style rooms. Located on a quiet street with a beautiful yard. Bar is nice and breakfast has a lot of options. Unique comfortable experience that is not your typical chain. Child friendly.

With a medieval flair, this is a superb. charming hotel in the center of Old Leuven. The rooms are lovely, modern and well appointed. The bathrooms are also very modern and very functional. The onsite bar is great. The staff is excellent and very efficient. The onsite parking is very convenient: one can leave the car parked as all of the important sites of old Leuven are in very easy walking distance. This is our go-to place in Leuven. My wife and I have been here at least 6 times. Remarkably popular, I strongly recommend booking early. The courtyard side is lovely and I would suggest getting one of those if possible.

fantastic location in a quiet side street in the centre of town. there is secure underground car park for eur30. rooms are good size. bed was narrow but comfortable.

This is really an excellent hotel, near the center of Leuven. It was way more upscale than most of the places we had stayed in our time in Belgium. We used the parking option, which couldn’t have been any easier - there is access to the garage from the hotel elevator. The breakfast was great and the room was spacious. They gave us an upgrade, which was really appreciated.

The room was not very clean and there were dirty spots and fingerprints on the walls. To expensive for what you get.

Very nice modern hotel in the center of Louvain. Close to the Old Market and the Grande Place, lots of restaurants...

Top check in, bar and breakfast service. We enjoyed staying there and visiting the city. We did booked a suite with champagne.

Lovely hotel, the staff were very nice. Underground parking was a big thing for us and it was great.

About a 50 euro taxi ride from airport. Very nice quiet "university town" with good restaurants and charming ambiance.

Tiny but unique hotel with both modern and historic touches. The hotel was converted from an old monetary and it kept some of the same building structure such as the bricks, the cathedral architecture elements and the courtyard style. The room is compact but clean, comfortable and well maintained. The hotel doesn't have a real restaurant but the breakfast buffet is amazing with superb quality pastries, fresh veggies, cheese, yogurt, cereal and eggs. Coffee is phenomenal as anywhere else in Europe. I've always had great experience staying here every time I visit Belgium. I happened to be here during the Brussels terrorists bombing this week (March 2016). My flight was cancelled and it was tough getting out as you can imagined. During the whole process, the staff here was very helpful and accommodating while I had to keep adjusting my stays, and needing help for advise on alternative transportations to leave Belgium. I'm very grateful and will not hesitate to stay here again.

According to the ad from hotels.com, we were supposed to have laundry facilities, bathrobes and slippers and a bathtub. We were not told that these amenities came with an upscaled room. We ordered pizza at the Klooster bar and it was ice cold :( pretty disappointed. The GPS in our rental car did not take into consideration that there was road construction that had been going on for months. This construction made finding the hotel VERY difficult.
