"Characterful 13C building, flanked by a surprising, modern, minimalist construction. This architectural gem offers immaculate rooms, while peaceful gardens further accentuate the beauty of the site. Don’t miss the wellness facilities or the nearby Alden Biesen Castle." - Tablet Hotels

Hotel is very cute and looks like a great combo between old and modern. But there are various issues with the hotel and its design. Hear wasn’t working in our room and they could make the user experience a little more comfortable. Great service though!

I would like to myself if I would consider this place as a worth 5 stars. First of all I have been there with a big group, so it has been organized and in my opinion people should be prepared for some number of guests. But they were not! We had dinner 3 courses, and I have to say that from the second till the end of the third plate I have been seating thirsty, no water no wine. Waiters were not aware at all! This let me cut 3 stars for the service. Not professional at all for the offered prices. Wine wasn't also for 5 stars neither. Food with taste apart from the dessert which until now I don't know what was it: it was not sweet, not salty, not bitter.. it had just no taste. For sure never there for the price-product ratio.......

All by all we had a good stay, but I am quite severe about hotels when paying such a price.|The room was clean, and personel very friendly. |We went to the bar outside and had to clean our chairs ourselves full of pigeons droppings. I do not understand how this is possible… on top we wanted drinks with fresh mint and … no availability. And this at the start of a long weekend.|Dinner was perfect, nothing to say.|Breakfast also ok, but when coming back after one day in Maastricht we saw that the bed was not done. All towels were changed ( not very ecological). This is unnacceptable for a hotel that is expensive for what they offer.|Service has to be upgraded.

Rooms are good but there's also absolutely nothing special about the room due to lack of decoration at all. There has been a huge missed opportunity as the room has a window to open but unfortunately no balcony to walk out or sit. The hotel is walking distance from Alden Biezen which is an amazing building and even part of the hotel has it routs in history but unfortunately nothing of that, or even the feeling, has been incorporated into the hotel and rooms. Breakfast was ok, even good, but some items like the scrambled eggs looked more like soup than eggs.

The hotel is pricey for what it offers. Modern architecture with glass, beautiful hall with a classy Christmas tree and restaurant that fullfil 4 stars. But the king room (more than 200 euro per night ) was like 3 stars max.. Basic interior and materials. Slippers were missing which the receptionist promised to bring but didn't happen. The bathtub was scary, black pieces came out when we turned on the bubble function. After the water drained, we saw what was there...The swimming pool had a sewer smell where there were holes for water... Would not return.

This was our family present for Christmas :) We came with our 1,5 year old baby. ||We had such a great time, the hotel is spacious and quiet, so is the room. ||The staff is friendly and welcoming. Very good breakfast and exceptional dinner at Akko. ||The environment is green and peaceful and you can go for beautiful walks in the park just nextdoor.||||We had such a resourceful weekend <3

Stayed here for a work retreat. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. We loved the colour scheme throughout and especially the choice of tiles in the bathrooms and the spa.I had an amazing massage too. The restaurant was closed for our stay but we ended up in a very good restaurant nearby - De Remise New Style

Hotel was nice, clean and quite. Spa was decent as was the breakfast. What absolutely made our visit however, was the lovely front desk agent called Anna, she was the most helpful, kind and lovely hotelier I have ever encountered. Whatever we needed, she looked to provide above and beyond, that is also the reason why I have scored this 5*!
