"Try creative Cambodian at this training restaurant You can graze on creative, contemporary Cambodian tapas, including delights such as red ant fritters served with prahok sauce (my favorite), in the gorgeous courtyard garden at Marum, a hospitality training school restaurant that educates, employs and trains disadvantaged youths. Much of the menu features the innovative small sharing dishes (some of which work, some don't), but there are also more traditional Cambodian dishes offered as mains. Try the rich Seafood Amok or hearty Kor Ko (vegetable stew). The desserts are also delicious (I love the coconut tart with chilli ice-cream) and the cocktails are very good (I love the pineapple and chilli margarita). Symbols on the menu indicate which are the most traditional dishes if you're not tempted by the cutting-edge. Do ask staff for their recommendations also, as they need to practice their English. But do be patient. The t-shirts the staff wears indicate who the students and instructors are, so get the attention of an instructor if you need help rather than get angry with a shy young person who is working in a restaurant for the first time. This is a lovely spot for lunch or dinner. There's also a Friends 'n' Stuff boutique on site where you can buy cool gifts made from recycled materials. Profits go to Friends International, which runs the restaurant. If you're heading to Phnom Penh, book a table at Romdeng, their superb training restaurant there."

The best restaurant (so far) out of those we’ve tried. Delicious outdoor restaurant (indoor if you want) - food sensational as well as passion fruit mojitos! Lovely training for the youngsters as part of the project. About a kilometre from Pub Street but well worth the walk (or tuktuk)..

Had the most amazing dining experience here. Incredible food, comfortable relaxed atmosphere and friendly excellent staff. Every dish I ordered was served beautifully plated, and full of dynamic and rich satisfying flavor. The baked tilapia with spicy miso butter was above and beyond what I could have imagined. Incredibly tasty! The prahok with crispy rice puff crackers was also a show stopper. The perfect mix of sour, spicy and savory. Last but not least the mango and vanilla ice cream shake was head and shoulders above anything else like it I have ever tried. I could go on but you really have to try the food yourself to properly appreciate just how delicious it was. The icing on the cake is that this restaurant is powered by Friends International and provides vocational training to their staff. Nice to help support a good cause. 10/10 I highly recommend this restaurant and can not wait to go back!

Amazing food and drinks - and for a great cause! F3 is a social business giving youth vocational training in hospitality. AND you can get your nails done by trainee beauticians after your (delicious) cocktails.

Like KOTO in VN ,this trading organization gives young people a second chance in a place where chances are generally limited. The food was delightful with an emphasis on a new Cambodian use of local food. It works and made for a memorable meal. Drinks were a highlight tho the wine choices are limited - the cocktails more than made up for it. And the young trainee staff are lovely. Still learning but it doesn’t detract from the dining experience. Open your hearts and wallets and support these guys - you won’t be disappointed.

Typical Cambodian restaurant. We ate there on New Year's Eve, much to our delight. The waiters are all in training and the service was excellent! (Which isn't always obvious in some restaurants). The waitresses are so kind and caring, always offering the little gesture that makes all the difference. A delicious address! Fish and spring rolls a must! Your French friends ☺️

Having just recently reopened, I felt compelled to write this review to drive more traffic their way. The food served was amazing and all for a good cause - supporting those with a career in hospitality to help give them access to a better life. If we could get hospitality staff in the UK as attentive and friendly as the staff here, our hospitality industry would be much better off! Don't think twice, just go. You will not be dissapointed.

Relaxed atmosphere, great service and tasty food - all for a good cause, as it's a vocational training center as well
