Maruti is the first and, according to locals, the best company operating between Sanur and Nusa Penida – everyone we asked recommended it, and apparently it was the very first one running this route. Our trip was fine, but be prepared that it gets very hot inside the boat and if it’s full, it can feel crowded. Make sure to check the actual departure times directly at their office because the times on 12go are incorrect – we booked 10:00 from Sanur, but the boat only left at 11:00, so we had to wait an extra hour. On the way back from Nusa Penida, we took the 12:30 boat. Don’t forget to check in at the Maruti office before departure (you can find it on Google Maps or just ask your taxi driver). Overall, we were satisfied and would recommend.

Worst tour I've ever taken in my life! Don't fall for this scam and don't buy anything from them! I bought a boat tour of the beaches of Musa Penida and when we arrived on the island they put us in a small car and drove us around the beaches. We couldn't even get off the bus or swim, only take pictures!! Horrible, dishonest, a scam!

Really well organized service, luggage was preloaded for us, staff were friendly and efficient. The boat is spacious and very comfortable even though it’s not air conditioned.

We were 1,5-2 hours late with our departure but it was raining heavily and that showed us that they care about the safety, which we really liked. The boat ride was really smooth, the boat was in a good condition and we felt really safe.

I felt really sick on the boat, I was extremely nauseous. I went outside for some air and asked for water, which I was willing to pay for since mine had run out, but they didn’t have any. Well, actually, the staff did have water and were just drinking it. They could clearly see I was in a terrible state, and yet there wasn’t even any water available on the vessel. I wonder if they even have a first aid kit? What kind of bullshit is this? How can there not even be water for sale on a boat? I went outside and ended up just throwing up around the place.
