Maruti is the first and, according to locals, the best company operating between Sanur and Nusa Penida – everyone we asked recommended it, and apparently it was the very first one running this route. Our trip was fine, but be prepared that it gets very hot inside the boat and if it’s full, it can feel crowded. Make sure to check the actual departure times directly at their office because the times on 12go are incorrect – we booked 10:00 from Sanur, but the boat only left at 11:00, so we had to wait an extra hour. On the way back from Nusa Penida, we took the 12:30 boat. Don’t forget to check in at the Maruti office before departure (you can find it on Google Maps or just ask your taxi driver). Overall, we were satisfied and would recommend.

So bad. We were supposed be picked up at 12:30. It’s 2:46 and they’re telling us to wait another 30 mins whilst they sit there.

Maruti Fast Boat Group was excellent from start to finish 🚤. The trip takes only about 30 minutes, smooth and hassle-free, with friendly staff making everything easy. On board, the small fans are a great touch to keep you cool and comfortable during the ride. A perfect and reliable choice for traveling between Bali and Nusa Penida — I would happily use them again! 🌊

We’ve been waiting at Penida Port since 1:30pm to return to mainland Bali. Our ferry was cancelled due to “not enough passengers,” and we were told to wait until 2:30pm. We’re now lined up again, only to be told departure has been pushed back to 3:00pm.

The ship crew is very rude, and act very angry and shouting very unprofessional, the boat name was lucky monkey. Avoid booking through maruti boat club.

Worst tour I've ever taken in my life! Don't fall for this scam and don't buy anything from them! I bought a boat tour of the beaches of Musa Penida and when we arrived on the island they put us in a small car and drove us around the beaches. We couldn't even get off the bus or swim, only take pictures!! Horrible, dishonest, a scam!
