Mary’s Well

I don't know how many times I've visited Nazareth, but every time I've been there I've enjoyed coming back. So many differences that are next to each other. I met so many good people in this city that I can't wait to come back again.

I nearly passed it several times. A beautifully crafted well. I didn't see anyone or any information about it at the site, so I had to google it. Lots of restaurants nearby, so you can have lunch right before or after seeing it. I think maybe you'll spend about 5 to 10 minutes then be able to move onward. Lots of food and parks nearby.

I love everything about Israel and the May's Well is one such . Its seems strange that you are at a place where actually Mary drank water from the well .its so breadthtaking and historic and you will be amazed to see the pigeons in that pure place !

The place where Mary was visited by the Angel who told her of the arrival of Jesus. A must visit if around, it's a beautiful small church and a market around. The place is not too far away from the Basilica of the annunciation church. Everything is at the walkable distance.

We went there on Christmas and it was packed with people. I didn't really understand what it is all about. The tree was nice but nothing really except it. It's has some restaurants and coffee shops around but really nothing special.

This well is at the top of quite a big hill, so be prepared for the walk. It's underwhelming and near to bars and restaurants. Nevertheless it's a nice enough looking well and isn't a large attraction in Nazareth. I'd recommend visiting this if you're travelling to the Russian Orthodox church, which is about a minutes walk away.

At Christmas time its illuminated, magical at the holiday season, most recommended. Lots of resturants around.

Mary’s Well is located at the site where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced that she would bear the Son of God
