Rooms were great because we camped🤭. Toilet is inconveniently located from non-powered camp sites. Lots of wallabies and play for kids. Dinner was great and plentiful. Eating hours are based on contractors' eating time; for example contractor's work Sunday so breakfast is between 6am until 730! 😱 Cleanliness could be improved. Free WiFi available. Good for 1 night. Lots of billabong to visit.

A Hidden Gem in the Desert!** If you're hunting for an unforgettable experience in the Australian outback, look no further than Murry River WildernessRetreat! This extraordinary establishment exceeded all my expectations, providing not just a place to stay, but a culinary adventure worthy of the finest five-star dining. Chef George is a culinary wizard! Each night, he not only tantalized our taste buds with his incredible dishes but went above and beyond to craft the most delightful milkshakes. It was evident that he poured passion and creativity into every plate, making each meal a celebration of flavor and artistry. You simply cannot miss the chance to indulge in what feels like gourmet dining in the heart of the desert. The accommodations are modest yet very comfortable, featuring cozy beds and cool rooms that provide a perfect retreat after a day under the outback sun. While not flashy, the rooms offer everything you need for a restful stay. The owners were incredible hosts—warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Their genuine hospitality made all the difference, creating an inviting atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The staff ensured all our needs were met with a smile, and we were blown away by how attentive they were. Plus, the fast WiFi was a welcomed surprise in such a remote location, allowing us to stay connected while enjoying our getaway. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, Outback Oasis is the ideal spot. The location is private and serene, perfect for relaxation or adventure, with wildlife all around to experience at any hour. It’s a wonderful spot for families, and kids will love the chance to explore the great outdoors! So, if you're ever venturing through the desert, do yourself a favor and visit Outback Oasis. It's not just a stopover; it's an experience filled with delicious food, great service, and the warmest of welcomes. This place deserves all the praise and more! You won't regret it!

What a wonderful spot to stopover enroute to and/or from Kakadu 😀 both powered & unpowered camps are in & around lots of trees, plenty of space & soooo peaceful. Really clean facilities. Absolutely recommend MRWR over other places that cram you in like sardines

I hope head office does see this. This was formally Mary River Wilderness Retreat and was taken over almost two years ago by Breeze. We enjoyed our time at Breeze. HOWEVER for seasoned campers, we found the place was overpriced for the amenities on site. A large caravan park, but the facilities did not match the price. For 62.00 you should have at-site sullage. The toilet and shower block were old and needed upgrading badly. Apparently, they are going to be upgraded in future. . The camp kitchen had poor lighting for night cooking. |One small pool, the public pool, was ok but far too small for the size of the park. Re:the staff : they were approachable and pleasant but lacked knowledge of the local area. The restaurant opened on request with a great chef who did a fabulous job. |Breeze needs to lift their game if they want to compete with local places around them.|

Ovoid at ALLcost $82 fort night for a dusty caravan site for 3 adults. Bar closed, pool 400m away small in size, NOT fenced. Advertised as part of Big 4 however when payment made they said “We are not part of Big 4’ Clearly an out of date overpriced rip off . Stay away from the overpriced dust bowl.

Well, after not finding the Mary River Resort, we stopped in at this Breeze Holiday Park. As it happened we were only out on a day trip from Darwin, so stopped off for our picnic lunch, during what was obviously the off (wet) season. Very nice setting, had a cooling swim and walk. Seems like a well organised and friendly place. They have full meal restaurant, and camp activities. Will return in the dry season.

No obvious way to turn on lighting in the camp kitchen. Pool was lovely. When we went out for a drive and left our cloth camp chair to indicate which spot we'd reserved, we returned to find the chair soaked. Obviously on automatic timer with no prior checking. Thank goodness we weren't sitting in the spot playing cards! Otherwise a wonderful if expensive spot to stay. Food was good value.

Many hotels and tourism properties have gotten away very poor behaviour in the last 18 months. Most clients have been very sympathetic during the pandemic, and the restart of the industry with the associated staffing shortages. In this circumstance your behaviour is driven by greed and your approach of “if your not happy we will refund in full” is no longer an acceptable approach. When a client is disrupted or inconvenienced, the onus is on the supplier to come up with a solution that will compensate the client. ||Hotels behaving badly|• We contact your property around Aug 2022 and made a booking for one double with ensuite, and two family cabins with ensuites for a group of 10 passengers. The booking was made and paid around 10 months in advance.|• It appears your property was sold around Oct 2022, and we received an email giving assurances that our booking would be unaffected by the change of ownership.|• Around March your company made a commercial decision to take a duplicate booking for a long-term contract.|• We were never informed of the change in circumstances, and no attempt was made to call us, and no emails have been received.|• At no point did you attempt to refund us for the booking, and you were seemingly happy to sit on the funds.|• We sent the client the final documentation for the bookings last week. When they tried to click on the “view booking” link from your confirmation, the booking did not appear.|• Our client contacted your property and was advised that the booking had been cancelled in March and that the agent had been notified in March and again in April (simply false and slanderous).|• When it was determined that our booking was cancelled, we discussed what alternatives could be provided.|• The only suitable option that you could provide, was three tents without ensuite (remembering that the group has two 80yo seniors). You then agreed to refund the difference between the two room categories and then provide dinner and breakfast to the clients as compensation.|• We spoke to the client, and they reluctantly agreed to the new arrangements. |• When the confirmation arrived, you made the decision to renege on the offer of dinner. |• Despite several emails and calls you refused to include the dinner that had been previously promised and then you took it upon yourself to cancel the booking for the tents (as per the below).||We now need to try and find alternate accommodation for a group of 10 with two elderly passengers, in the middle of the school holidays in a very remote region of Australia. ||This is not a case of Force Majeure. A large company such as Breeze Holiday Parks should behave better than this.|
