Marzipan Bakery and restaurant is my favorite lunch spot in the German Colony. When I say “lunch” I should be clear that your meal could be the only one you need for the day.
Although Israelis do not understand the concept of the American style pancake: thick and fluffy, Marzipan’s crepe-like pancake goes down well with fresh fruit, whipped cream and syrup.
Hot sandwiches are very nicely done and the side salads round out lunch.
Of course, you’re surrounded by freshly baked pastries, cakes and cookies carrying the Marzipan name.
Enjoy.
