Mas de la Baume

We had a truly memorable stay at Mas de la Beaume. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and just a short walk from the center of Gordes—close enough to explore easily, yet perfectly quiet for relaxing.||The gardens are especially lovely—well cared for, full of flowers, and ideal for enjoying the fresh air. Each morning, we were served a delicious breakfast on the terrace, with fresh bread, fruit, cheese, and homemade jam.||What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the hosts. They made us feel completely at home and took the time to offer thoughtful local travel tips, which helped us make the most of our stay in the region. We even shared a melon we bought at the market together, which turned into such a simple but meaningful moment.||This is a place made with care and soul. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic Provence experience.

Mas de la Beaume was a perfect stay in Gordes. The grounds and gardens were beautiful - a relaxing spot to enjoy the amazing homemade breakfasts and happy hour (a bottle of wine or two picked up from the local wineries). Our room and stay was very comfortable and enjoyed the classic provencal decor. One highlight is that it is walking distance to Gordes, which we really appreciated. Make sure to stop by the farmer's market in Gordes, highly recommend!

This place is amazing! We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our time here. The room was clean, warmly decorated and comfortable... the property's gardens were gorgeous... the breakfast was delicious. Located within a ten minute walk outside of the historical city centre, it has an extraordinary view of Gordes! Both Joel and Sandrine are very warm and hospitable hosts. Highly recommended!!!!

We had a delightful stay at this beautiful property. Joel and Sandrine were gracious hosts who provided very helpful insights on towns to visit and places to eat. The view from our terrace was spectacular, which also is where a delicious breakfast was set out for us daily. We enjoyed the pool immensely to relax late in the afternoon after a day of touring. Town and restaurants are about a 10 minute walk that might be a little too much for an older couple but was fine for us. Driving the very short distance into town for dinner at night is an option. And I can’t help but mentioned the shower - the best water pressure of any shower I ever have experienced. All in all, a wonderful stay in a beautiful setting.

We stayed here recently having stayed previously back some years ago and our new hosts Joel and Sandrine were delightful. They are so welcoming and helpful even though we have travelled to Provence many times they were always giving us ideas on what else to see and do which was unprompted and very kind to offer. We love the property it is well kept beautiful landscape garden, peaceful and has a lovely vista and swimming pool, a definite recommendation to anyone wanting a base to travel around. Each room has its own private terrace and so you are guaranteed quiet time and place to sit and relax. We had a great breakfast every morning and even picked the figs from the tree on our terrace with the approval of our host of course. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a truly unique and traditional French stay.

Beautiful room with many features and decor characterizing Provence. The grounds were beautifully kept, with many places to sit and relax, with a swimming pool. Excellent breakfast, especially the breads, served on your own terrace. Hosts were very helpful

Hosts are so attentive and genuine. They are willing to share their experience. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend. It's very close to being in town and a short walk to anything you need. It's great to see the town as you are arriving back to your room. Charming and delightful.

Although Mas de Baume is less than a ten minute walk to the center of Gordes, the large garden makes it feel in the country, far from the town. The garden, where one can have breakfast, overlooks the pool and the valley beneath Gordes. ||The rooms include stone and traditional beams. The furnishings were charming and the bathroom was spacious. There was a small refrigerator in the room. ||The hosts are gracious and breakfast was very tasty, with a variety of items.
