Mas de la Fouque

Beautiful premises, one night was not enough to enjoy everything. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a lovely view over the marsh. We especially loved watching the sun rise and listening to all the birds in the early hours of the morning. The restaurant was excellent and the service professional and friendly. Some slight technical problems with booking on the website and with our checkout that day, but these small issues did not detract from an otherwise exceptional stay!

Our superior room was simply beautiful, spacious with its high ceilings, luxurious through the beautiful materials and lovely smelling, not to mention the spacious terrasse overlooking the pond.Discrete and professional staff, great food.

Excellent location, facility, staff and food! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Mas de la Fouque! Our room had a beautiful view of the pond , horses, birds and one of the most beautiful sundown we have ever seen! The staff was wonderful, and friendly (... with a special hello to permanent resident Marius - the parrot who is adorably entertaining). Our only regret is that we had planned to stay only one night as we are in transit from Cote d'Azur towards Bordeaux. We will definitely go back some day and book a stay for several days as we would have loved to enjoy their spa in addition to spending more time in this stunning region. The restaurant was closed on the night we arrived (we knew and expected this as it was clearly written on their website and confirmation email) so we took opportunity of their in-room chef's platter which was fantastic - perhaps even better for our taste to enjoy a great finger food platter with a good bottle of wine on our room patio while observing the beautiful nature that surrounded us. We slept so well in this quiet and comfortable room! Love love love it! I can't wait to go back someday but this time, for a longer stay!

A really nice and beautyful place to be with a really helpful and lovely staff! But MOST of all I can recommand the SPA NUXE and his AMAZING STAFF! They are SIMPLY THE BEST!!! They made everything possible to make their guest feel confortable! Sabrina, the SPA-chief is an amazing person and so is her staff, too! You can trust them at any time and you really feel, that they just want your best and that you will have a GREAT time during your stay! For ME this SPA and his staff belongs to the best one in the world!!! And a „must have“ at least once a year! I‘m thankful that I had found this amazing place and those lovely people! For me when I go back there it is like going to visit my friends! I LOVE IT!

Lovely day at the spa for a massage + lunch package. Location is excellent, staff is friendly, massage is done using Nuxe products. We loved it!

To avoid! Overpriced hotel and not to standard||For 300 euros/night you would expect some basic standards.|Just to list few things: |- mold|- only an old bath and no shower. You need to sit to wash yourself and the evacuation doesn’t work|- it is freezing cold at night and the heating through reversed air conditioned is very noisy|- the hotel is not very well maintained |- the dinner was very disappointed and we decided to leave after the starter. (Pictures enclosed) the price for a small salad is crazy! We also had a warm bottle and had to wait half an hour to be able to drink it and so on|- we could not use the spa on the day due to cleaning …||I am sorry for the staff. The receptionist and the spa where really nice but cannot do anything to compensate your experience….

The Hotel Mas de la Fouque is located about 5 minutes from the centre of Saintes Maries de la Mer and offers an excellent base to explore the wonderful Camargue. |We enjoyed three nights in the countryside with very few hotel guests. The Mejanes suite offers enough space for three people and is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. We often used the large swimming pool, the free tennis court or the table football. The hotel spa is beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings. The staff is very friendly and helps with reservations for restaurants or horseback riding. The breakfast selection is good. The only drawback was the 3-course menu on the day of arrival, a choice of at least two dishes per course would be desirable for the relatively high price.

Spectacular setting and service, entrees and desert were absolutely amazing, the risotto was delicious, however lost a point for the tempura prawn plat which came out like a very phallic looking hot dog..deep fried. All in all loved the experience
