Mas de Lafeuillade

Cute boutique tucked in a quiet corner of Montpellier. The staff creates a welcoming environment and the park-like grounds really enhance your sense of peace and escape. The restaurant is wonderful - the chef creates beautiful and delicious cuisine, and the service is charming and warm. Great wine list, as well. Such a gem!

Funky B&B centrally located in Montpellier with great on-site parking for 3 euros. No reception, and we had to tell the manager at what time we would arrive so that he could give us access. The Chinese housekeeper/breakfast chef was charming. I was amused to find that her English was better than her French. ||Our room was large but very old-fashioned. Steep staircase to access it. Nice view on the park, which is supposedly off limits to hotel guests.||Altogether a rather strange experience, but so convenient for our road trip, and dinner in town with an old friend, as other centrally-located hotels in Montpellier in the pedestrian zone make it difficult for those on a driving trip.

Only 2 courses or 3 courses menu available. I think would have been good to allow clients to order only either entree or main dish. Because some people like have small appetites. The service is very casual and average for this kind of place. More cheerful attitude would have been more pleasant. Options for summer season are for me too heavy, I would have appreciated lighter, or fresher choices. However portions are generous which can be appreciated by big eaters. Regrettably could not walk in the garden as it is not allowed for non residents.

My partner and I had a lovely two-night stay at Mas de Lafeuillade. The hotel's stylish 20th century furnishing's pizzazz is second-to-none, and the bed was very comfortable. While the lodging itself provided the wow, it's really Sol who provided the warmth. She took such great care of us at breakfast, and kindly imparted us knowledge to make the most of our visit in Montpellier. As some other reviewers mentioned, Mas de Lafeuillade doesn't have overnight staff and the rooms are a little kooky, so it feels more like staying at a fabulously stylish friend's house while they're away than a real hotel. Sol is the secret ingredient that turns a beautiful but disorienting experience into a true delight. We would stay there again.

We stayed for two nights and had a great time there. Very nice service and a beautiful place 😊👌 Nana who worked there was especially nice, helpful and friendly 😉

We stayed 2 nights and they "forgot to make the room". We asked what happened and they said: "nothing happended, the cleaning staff just forgot". Unbelievable. We asked at least if we could get clean towels, but we had to almost beg to get them... I traveled a lot lot and never saw this in my whole life.

The presentation of the place is a bit misleading. When we were there (August, but nevertheless) there was no access to the garden, no steady reception service, no restaurant, the cleanliness and room amenities were poor, and the place is situated in a part of town that is hard to access from the centre without a car. Those things could be fine but not for the price point they are asking. The rooms are pretty though, you are basically paying for good interior design but that's about it.

A little difficult to find but worth the extra effort. The hotel is tucked away behind a modern, largely high-rise, multifamily neighborhood, along with some corporate office buildings....not at all what you might expect as neighbors. There is aplenty of free parking and there are nice, large gardens for walking and strolling. This is not a large facility, but the ambiance and environment are superb. The facility is a mixture of old world charm but with more in-room modern amenities than many historic facilities tend to offer. The staff were very courteous, polite and friendly. The food here is very good, and judging from the volume of mid-week dinner activity, the restaurant is very popular. If you stay here, you might want to let them know that you will want to have dinner here, otherwise you could be shut out. This is a relaxing place to stay and reasonably close to the motorway as well as central Montpellier. .
