Mas de Torrent Hotel & Spa

i booked this hotel for my annual pre-birthday solo trip and it was so sweet to arrive there to find a beautifully decorated room with some surprises. the whole stay was lovely: the staff, the hotel and its amenities. great spa and! also take an advantage of available bicycles, there’re so many green fields to explore as well neighboring cozy towns (for example, Pals). would def come back! 🤍

We just completed a terrific stay at this hotel for 3 nights. It's a beautiful hotel, impeccable condition, with great service and amenities. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the room we had overlooked Pals and the views of the Costa Brava, every day waking up with that view and over the hotel grounds was the perfect start to the day. This is a great location for exploring the whole coast, from Tossa de Mar up to Cadques, Begur, and the rest. 10 minute drive to Golf Emporda which is a first-class golf facility. The hotel is the perfect retreat after a day of seeing the sights, and had we had more time, it would have been the perfect place to just hang out and chill for a day and enjoy the spa, with it's indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, gym, and treatments. We will definitely return, thank you Mas de Torrent!

This hotel was exactly what I was hoping for. The setting is calm, elegant, and truly beautiful. The staff are wonderful, always attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and the spa experience was unforgettable, with an excellent massage that made my stay even more relaxing. We rented bikes and explored the surroundings, following a route recommended by the staff that led us to the town, which was such a great experience. There is also a vineyard nearby that is well worth a visit. This is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, or simply relax with a glass of wine and tapas while taking in the peaceful views.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you in the Girona (Costa Brava, Spain) area. We stayed for two nights in mid December 2025, the hotel was very warm, staff very helpful and food was excellent. The Spa is a really nice place to relax with a very good gym and indoor pool. We will definately be coming back to the Mas de Torrent in the future.

A beautiful property with the reputation of a five-star resort — but the service is nowhere near that level. Lost reservations, disorganized staff, slow restaurant service, and worn-out details in the room made our stay feel more like a 3-star experience. This place still has a lot to learn before it truly lives up to the Relais & Châteaux name.

What a gorgeous property in the middle of so many great little towns. ||The resort itself is stunning. The rooms are all gorgeous (I experienced the garden suite, the pool suite and the residential suite) and all were beautiful and spacious. They are well equipped and have everything you may need. ||The gym and spa is very nice. Not huge but decently sized to get the job done. I had a great massage during my stay and was able to use the gym quite often without any issues.||The two restaurants are delicious and have a lot of wonderful options. Breakfast so amazing with so many buffet items and a la carte menu. Claudia at the restaurant was the sweetest person ever. She really made each morning very special. Oh and get the flan. One of the best!! ||Carlos who handles the suitcases and the valet had the best energy ever. You can just tell he’s a happy individual and it just radiates off of him. ||Timea from the front desk went above and beyond for me. She helped us move the boat reservation when we wanted to change dates. She helped us make a second reservation to return when we didn’t like our next hotel. And she also moved my room when I had an issue with some noises upon arrival due to construction being done quickly outside my room. ||The boat excursion was also great. Sergio the captain was fun to talk to and accommodating.

We stayed mid June for our anniversary trip. Hotel grounds were spectacular and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and the low key service. Everything was very calm. Hotels staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby. Afternoon tea was so nice for an afternoon snack! Food was uniformly good across both the MAs restaurant and breakfast/ pool restaurant. We had a room in the main building in the 2nd floor with an excellent balcony area. Perfect place to sit and relax. Air conditioning was very good in the room. Bathrooms were also very nice and well appointed. I could not figure out the TV but that was ok, so much else to do. Would recommend this hotel and general area for a visit. We loved it.

Beautiful hotel, amazing facilities and helpful staff always available. |A la carte breakfast was great and we particularly enjoyed casual lunches at the bar. I think most guests don’t realise that is a lunch option. ||I cannot fault the hotel itself - the only negative effect on our stay was American guests not being respectful of the peaceful surroundings. We witnessed several separate groups, none of whom could control the volume of their conversations or how to behave in a high-end hotel setting..|I guess the hotel cannot do much to stop this, apart from perhaps monitoring the noise levels around the pool area.
