Mas Falgarona

We spent one night at Mas Falgarona in October. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Figueres centre, surrounded by countryside so very peaceful. Our room was very comfortable, and well equipped, the bed very comfortable, and the staff friendly, efficient and welcoming. We also ate dinner in the restaurant, and it was excellent – worth the drive on its own. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and we can recommend the hotel for either a visit to Figueres, or en route to the south for an overnight stopover.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the countryside, the entire complex is very well maintained and has a calming effect on your well-being.||The rooms are simple, but very nicely furnished. We liked the open closet and the Bluetooth speaker.|Unfortunately, the bathroom makes a very functional impression and urgently needs to be renovated and repaired in some places.||In the evening, we enjoyed a very tasty and high-quality dinner at a lovely table by the pool. The staff were also very attentive and very friendly.||The breakfast was good, but we were surprised and disappointed that you have to pay extra for egg dishes. This should be included in a hotel of this category.||One downside was that the safe in the room was broken and unfortunately could not be repaired or replaced on site. We had firmly relied on the safe and were disappointed when we were billed at reception the next morning, as no concession or compensation was possible even when asked.||We would have hoped for more goodwill here, especially as we stay in the region several times a year.||Overall, the hotel lacks a soul, an owner or someone on site who can take responsibility and find quick solutions. The staff are nice, but not competent.

Super friendly and happy stuff. Very good energy! Dog friendly, clean and enormous kind and polite- i would always come back here - indoor and outdoor pool- great spa very recommendable massagetherapist name monse- great rooms with lots of space -if you wanna have peaceful and relaxed time to recover or recharge - this the right place . Our dog enjoyed it as much as we did ♥️🙏 thank you!

What an absolute find! Needed an overnight stop on a journey up the east coast of Spain to France and stumbled across this absolute gem. Beautiful location, stunning unique rooms, fabulous spa and massages and a wonderful chef. Will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Everything about it was great. The place, the people, the location. I needed exactly that. And it was very special. Thank you Mas Falgarona!

Really lovely country spa and hotel. Very nice staff. Comfortable and stylish rooms. Two pools (indoor and outdoor) and treatments. My massage was excellent. Even EV charging. The restaurant is excellent. Dinners and breakfasts were a treat. Dogs allowed in the terrace rooms but not in the farmhouse. We ate in our room. In spring the house is surrounded by flowery meadows and you wake up to the sound of cowbells. Very convenient for Figueras.

We were three adults with one dog and picked a villa. It was perfect. Plenty of space and even had relaxing movie nights. We had facial and massage treatments with Sarah - on the holidays no less! - and she was wonderful. Special meals for Christmas Eve and Christmas were spectacular. The entire staff was amazing but Alfa was a standout. Breakfast every morning was a perfect way to start the day.

Beautiful hotel in peaceful surroundings. Comfortable room (superior) and very friendly staff. Our room was close to the stairs so we could hear everything that was going on downstairs but for the rest the area is very quiet. Nice pool area with both sun and shade and a new spa, which is beautiful, treatments are rather expensive though. The restaurant was closed on Wednesday but the hotel provided a smaller menu for us to choose from, very helpful. Good dinner and breakfast.
