A very disappointing experience. We arrived at 10.00pm after our flight and no one was at reception. We rang them on the emergency number and they hung up after we told them we were at the hotel. We’d paid for 3 nights in advance. We had to pay for a last minute hotel elsewhere. The following day, when we arrived again, they were not at all apologetic and they were quite condescending. No compensation was offered. Instead they pointed to the fine print which stipulated that you had to contact them in advance for a late arrival - which wasn’t possible! We were in the air. The manager then lied, saying she was manning reception at 10.00, which was far from the truth. This meant we paid 700 euros for nothing.
A far better option is Hotel B Design and Spa close by, with delightful staff, amenities and food, set in a magnificent garden location. No comparison.
I never write a negative review, but this time, I feel compelled to do so.
