The food here is amazing, both visually and tasty. But it is hard to recommend a service which is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until they sell out (between 2 and 3). Although you can order on-line, you get more selection ordering at the counter. This restaurant is in Geeveston, about an hour south of Hobart. You will queue up ahead of time, pick your selection and take away, or eat at a few picnic tables in the front of the shop.
But the food is incredibly delicious. Everything is prepared with care and expertise. Visually arresting. Divine taste. Fortunately we were headed for a hike up Hartz Peak on a stunning day, so this was "la pièce-de-resistance". It truly is excellent and deserves all the accolades.
