We had a wonderful time here. I knew the wines well as I’d worked in the Zurich Wine Bar for a time and it was nice to see the actual vineyards. The staff in the shop was lovely. Very friendly, very helpful. The waitstaff in the restaurant was also very nice and friendly. There was a point where our waitress turned a bit unfriendly. It wasn’t because of us and it didn’t last long, but it was strange. Did not at all put a damper on our trip overall and we do look forward to going back.

Had high hopes for lunch here but unfortunately the food was a let down. The fried starters were lacking in flavour and texture, the only one we enjoyed was the cod. Sage gnocchi was very bland, tortelli was overly sweet it felt like we were eating a dessert. The trout dish was the only decent main. However the creme brûlée dessert was quite nice. I’m not sure if the food is very traditional or the restaurant is trying to be too inventive with the flavour combinations, unfortunately it was quite a strange tasting meal and didn’t resemble some of the beautiful food of Italy. At least the service was lovely!

It is an honor for me to warmly recommend a delicious and pleasant meal at Masi Tenuta Canova restaurant. We were a family of stwo adults and four children who arrived in the evening, and although we had made a mistake with the reservation date, we were welcomed warmly and with open arms. We were then served by the wonderful Antonio, who selected excellent dishes tailored perfectly for each of us and paired them with superb wine. Every dish was outstanding, including the excellent desserts. Thank you for a wonderful meal under the guidance of the amazing Antonio, who made us feel at home. Thanks to Antonio and the excellent food, this was an experience we will cherish forever.
