One of many unique mosques in SG. The mosque and its adjacent Johor Royal Mausoleum and Tanah Kubor Temenggong Johor are owned by the State of Johor for the Sultan of Johor. It is one of two mosques in the country, not under the purview of MUIS.

Peaceful, clean and full of spiritual calm.

For female worshippers, PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL if you want to go to the toilet. Yesterday, November 14, 2025, at around 7:15 PM (Maghrib Prayer Time), a middle-aged man entered the women's toilet area. When my wife confronted him, 'Sir, why are you entering here? This is the women's area, where we uncover our aurat,' the man angrily replied, 'Why, is there a problem? That's my meeting room!' The man did not apologize at all and instead just walked away. To the mosque management, please look into this matter. My wife was frightened, this is not safe for women.

Gives the kampung surau kinda vibe amidst the busy main road but upon entering, the serendipity of its surrounding remains calm & peaceful.. very clean and spacious.. Opposite Vivo City.. Some parking lots available.. Easily accessible muslimah area..

Great place to pray. Clean toilet, airy prayer area and a small place where you can have a cup of drink. This mosque is owned by Sultan of Johor. Hence there will be doa dedicated to the royal family after the prayers. Sermon are different from those mosques under MUIS. Very unique experience :)

Very Malaysian vibes. Strategic location just across Harbourfront. Nice and comfortable. Friendly mosque staff/volunteers. Was there on a Thursday night recently; pleasantly surprised to receive a packet of food.

Alhamdullilah. Prayers at this masjid is always so pleasant. The prayer hall inside is large, airy and really comfortable to pray in. The sound system is also very effective so it adds another dimension to the overall experience. There are lots of volunteers so you really feel like this is a close-knit community who runs the operations here. This masjid is unique - it is operated by MUIS but is owned by the Johor state government. Centrally located, it is a stone’s throw away from HarbourFront MRT. For drivers, it is recommended to get there early as parking inside is limited - the nearest after that would be at Seah Im Food Centre.

Located within walking distance of VivoCity Mall, the MRT, and Seah Im Food Centre, this mosque is a beautiful, classically designed space. It's a very comfortable place to pray, and food and drinks are provided before Friday prayers. Alhamdulillah. 🤲
