Masseria Alchimia, Puglia, Italy - Explore & Book

"A traditional whitewashed former convent and girls school, Masseria Alchimia has been converted into 7 self-catering studios by the super-efficient and welcoming Caroline. Each is stylishly pale and furnished with a roll call of design classics, including furniture by Ron Arad, Charles and Ray Eames, Verner Panton, Philippe Starck and Sori Yanagi. Minimalist modernism works well in this sunbleached landscape, and the blazing-white angles of the masseria bring to mind Le Corbusier or the Bauhaus, and allows the views to sing out - the intense blue sky, the silver-green of the surrounding olive groves and the glossy green fruit trees and shrubs. It’s out in the countryside, yet close enough to the highway to make it easy to explore the region - as we discovered when we revisited with the kids in tow. There are some buzzy beach clubs around Savelletri, Unesco-listed Alberobello is a short drive, and Fasano is an appealing, workaday town; but you can easily find a secluded spot to swim, and no end of olive groves for a private picnic or flowery ramble. Caroline offers a concierge and restaurant booking service to boot. Highs Minimalist urban chic and modern design classics in a tranquil rural setting with views over the fields Excellent value for money, even in high season All studios have sun-trap terraces for alfresco dining and lounging Eco-friendly: measures include solar energy, recycling and controlled water consumption Intimate setting - no town or hotel within sight - yet you're only 1km from the shops in Fasano and 3km from the beach For something less rural, see Caroline's beautiful bolthole for couples, set in historic Ostuni Lows No pool, though the Deluxe Suite has an outdoor plunge pool, and the beach is a short drive away No meals served, although there's enough provided on arrival to whip up a basic breakfast. The studios have small kitchenettes with fairly minimal facilities, so don’t expect to cook banquets Not for those who prefer the full service provisions of a hotel, although the rooms are serviced daily The small Standard Rooms have terraces alongside each other, so they're not very private" - Abigail Blasi

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Masseria Alchimia. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and given excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and activities. Although our visit was brief, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, and the surrounding gardens were stunning. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here to experience the charming southern vibe of Italy 10/10!

We had a lovely stay at Masseria Alchimia as we came to view a number of wedding venues in Puglia. Caroline is an exceptional host, clearly so passionate about what she does. She gave us a fantastic tour and fabulous suggestions for restaurants and activities in Puglia. Masseria Alchimia is a fantastic option for getting married, it has multplie WOW moments, that will make your night unforgetable. Would highly reccommend it. My only note would be to take this venue to the next level the rooms need a little finessing. Very clean and stylish already, but could do with a few more hotel like elements to bring them together a bit more. But overall a fabulous place and experience.

Masseria Alchimia is beautiful - it’s like no other Masseria I have been to. I got married here last week and I couldn’t have dreamt of a better wedding venue or host. Thank you so much Caroline for making our wedding and stay so magical, it was all perfect. The Masseria has so many different spaces, which cater to different parts of a wedding. The terrace was ideal for dancing, the two olive groves are stunning for the ceremony/dining as you can see the sea in the distance. The grotto is the coolest addition to this unique venue. We will certainly be returning in the future. Thank you!

The place is incredibly beautiful. The location among old olive trees gives a wonderful Italian atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. The space for the wedding ceremony is huge, but at the same time very cozy. And of course, the service at the highest level - manager Caroline is very helpful and caring, patiently answers all questions and doubts. We had an unforgettable wedding and we highly recommend this place!

We have just returned home after celebrating the wedding of my son Michael and his new wife Natasha. For once I am lost for words. The location was the most idyllic for such an awesome wedding. The rooms were excellent, the olive grove, piazza, caves, Caroline everything was faultless. My photos do not do it justice.

Choosing this venue in Puglia for our wedding was truly one of the best decisions we made. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by ancient olive trees that create a breathtaking and authentic backdrop. The natural beauty of the landscape, combined with the timeless charm of the venue, made our special day unforgettable. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. The owner, Caroline, was incredibly kind and professional—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and we felt completely supported throughout the entire planning process. A heartfelt thank you to Caroline for being a part of our special day! If you’re looking for a wedding location in Puglia that combines beauty, charm, and genuine hospitality, this is the place!
