Masseria Grieco

We recently spent a week in this beautiful location. The accommodation is wonderful and it captures the feel of the region with its design and construction. |The staff were very professional and welcoming from the moment we arrived. |The outside dining area at night is magical and the food excellent. The menu changes each day and reflects the local produce. |We based ourselves here as we explored the Pulia region each day. Coming back for a swim in the late afternoon before dinner was a perfect way to relax. |A wonderful overall experience that we thoroughly recommend.

WOW! You feel like royalty as you drive through the gate up the 1/4 mile walled driveway to the secluded resort. The grounds are gorgeous with variety of luscious plants and manicured grass. Reception is welcoming and informative. They rooms are well thought out and comfortable. Pool and bar area are clean and spacious. Plenty on lounge chairs and side tables. WiFi throughout the grounds. Ample seating options in the shade and sun alike. You can chill on seating areas under the trees or egg chair swings or around the bar. Drinks are really good and reasonably priced. There is a 3euro/person service charge so if you order multiple rounds or food it’s not bad but if you just grab a 3euro cappuccino it’ll be a 6euro cappuccino. Pool has a nice shallow gradual walk in and deepest is 5’. There is also a walking path and animals.

We thoroughly enjoyed the masseria. We loved the breakfast in the mornings and the dinners were even better. The pool area and temperature of the pool was fantastic. It was so great to spend time checking out the local towns- Ostuni, Locorotundo, Alberabello and then come back and hang by the pool. The staff was amazing and we especially enjoyed Graciella, Laura, and Rosa. Everyone was great but those are the names I remember. We saw other Masserias and nothing came close to this one.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Masseria! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.||The restaurant for evening meals was exceptional and in a beautiful courtyard location— every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented and great service. Breakfast each morning was equally fantastic, with plenty of fresh, delicious options.||The staff made our stay truly special. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming, creating such a relaxed and happy atmosphere. We especially remember Rosa, Giovanna, Patrizia, Grazia, Morena, Giada, Maria Laura and Vita— though there were many more whose names we can’t recall but whose helpfulness and kindness did not go unnoticed.||We took part in a cookery class with Grazia, which was so much fun and a real highlight of our trip. The pool bar was excellent and friendly staff there too, we loved dining in the beautiful grounds under the trees, an unforgettable experience.||We also celebrated our son’s 31st birthday during our stay, and the team went out of their way to acknowledge it so thoughtfully — it meant a lot to us.||We cannot wait to return and create more memories in this magical place!

I’ve been very lucky to visit some really super hotels, and this is one of the best. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, but a genuine welcome not a superficial smile. The building itself and the rooms are beautiful. The owners have taken great care to give an authentic feel without scrimping on luxury. |The food was amazing, breakfast was all very fresh, with a good selection of fruit, meats, cakes, cheese, breads etc, all locally sourced or home made. |Dinner was superb, the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was perfect. |All the staff were great. Rosa especially, she was very helpful, and had a genuine interest in the guests. |I have nothing but positive comments about every aspect of Masseria Grieco, the only slight negative is that it is quite remote - it’s not really a negative as we knew this when we booked, but a car is a necessity.||Absolutely would recommend to anyone

Extraordinary stay in Puglia. Masseria Grieco delivers...We were so glad we chose this property. The masseria is actually more beautiful that the images on it's website. Elegant and stylish stone walls and rooms throughout the property. Pool and pool bar having great drinks and light food. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Solid service and staff very helpful! Guests should have a rent a car. Would totally return!!

Their massage therapist is from another world…she is excellent! Highly recommend to try her. Definitely a 5 star rating for this experience. Otherwise the lack of being able to take the breakfast outside(such a pit because it s such a beautiful place) and the daughter(I assume) of the owners which was a little bit harsh in attitude made me gave 4 out of 5 Even so it s a beautiful location , worth staying there!

Came here for part of our stay in Puglia for our baby moon - this was the highlight of our trip!! This place is just incredible, the grounds are breathtaking, the masseria itself is so beautiful, our room was perfect and so clean and comfortable. We LOVED the onsite pool and pool bar/restaurant. We used it daily and was so perfect. The vibe of this place makes you feel like you are on a little retreat. We also loved fresh breakfast served every morning with farm to table food options. Service at reception and restaurants was also amazing, everyone was so kind and helpful. We also ate every dinner at the masseria, all dinners were great and a new menu was provided every day. Can’t find one flaw with this place, it was perfect in every way, and we hope to be back soon!!
