Masseria Guida

We stayed here as we wanted somewhere outside Naples city centre and nearer to the Amalfi coast so we ease our travel plans. Parking was provided and we checked in quite late at 9pm. The room was nicely designed and breakfast in the morning was freshly baked. Loved the orchard around the area where they grew the apricot, tomato etc which was used to cook in the restaurant. Service was very personal and friendly. Highly recommended!

Run away !! It looks appealing at first but this restaurant is expensive, service is aweful (no testing of wine, wine was hot, no smile). There meat come with more fat than meat. The Michelin guide is really disappointing mentioning this restaurant. We are used to good and bad restaurants and can make sure that we wil not come back here. The area is clean and looks luxury but the rest is not at all at the level of the suroundings. Go for a good pizza in town and you will save your money.

Fantastic place, people were amazing felt treatment was above and beyond. The food was stunning, delicious and a great experience. Wine was also paired really well. Go, it's fantastic, a destination for sure. I would highly recommend it for folks visiting Herculaneum, Pompeii and Vesuvius. You can stay at the wonderful rooms, visit the nearby sites and find a calm respite amongst the hustle of the Naples region.

Exquisite cuisine, delightful attentive and knowledgeable staff. Home grown vegetables used in complement to a varied menu highlighting many regional foods. A dining experience to treasure! Danielle was very friendly and helpful in making choices.

I would highly recommend anyone staying in Naples to stay at Masseria Guida. It is such a relaxing area, tucked away from the crazy hustle and bustle of Naples. It's near the foot of Mt. Vesuvius so it's just a quick drive to and from. It's about 15 minutes outside of Naples and about 20 minutes from the Pompeii Ruins by car. The food is also delicious, but beware that they do fry most of their items. I would definitely suggest eating at their gourmet restaurant. The people here were welcoming, but cold and impersonal. I think they have a different standard of hospitality -- not better or worse, but they are there to do their job and to do it well, not to chat. I would frequently try to engage with them, but their English is limited and my Italian is limited so we managed to get by. Giovana is an absolute angel and took care of us through dinner. The views, though, are what makes this stay so worthwhile and I look forward to coming back.

I had the most incredible dining experience of my life here. The service was fantastic, wine pairing with the dishes was more than complimentary, and food was the best you will ever find in Italy! Very much looking forward to the next visit.

Exquisite food in both the casual and the fine dining restaurants. Unparalleled service. Off the beaten path but an oasis of culinary cunning and aesthetics. We visited twice during our stay in Naples. Serious wine cellar. Wish we could have sampled the spa.
