Our family of 13 rented the entire masseria, and our week could not have been more perfect. The pictures on the site do not do the place justice. The property is simply spectacular. No detail is overlooked: the grounds are kept in pristine condition, the pool is dreamy and super-clean, the rooms are perfection (all rooms are different, but there is simply no "bad" room), and the bed, towels, and linens are wonderful. ||||The location is fantastic. You're a couple minutes drive (or 10 minute bike ride) to gorgeous Castro Marina, the charming town center of Vingnacastrisi, and many other villages (if exploring is your thing). ||||The staff–AnnaRita, Donato, and Roberta–truly understand customer service. Dinner , beach club, and boat trip reservations were arranged for us. Breakfast every day was delicious, and our requests (more arancia cake!) were met with a smile. We also had dinner made for us one night at the masseria, which was excellent. AnnaRita and Donato made a feast! ||||We would not change a single detail and cannot wait to book again!

Hard to believe this converted masseria has just been open a little more than 6 months since the elegant grounds are so well established. There's an al fresco kitchen next to the long communal table where one has breakfast, and by arrangement, an excellent regional dinner. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, but delightfully simple. Great bathrooms. I think each room has some sort of outdoor space in lieu of a view. I think my only complaint was that the wifi was not always reliable. ||The staff couldn't be more helpful when we found ourselves without plugs/cords for our gadgets. Everyone was very kind and solicitous about our comfort. The masseria is conveniently located near a small town, Vignacastrisi, which has an excellent restaurant--La Casa Dell'Angello. We also found that the location was a very convenient base for exploring the Salento region. Four memorable days!

Masseria Gresca is a beautifully restored 17th century farm house and owner Annarita Primitivo has apparently spared no cost in it's restauration. The rooms with high ceilings have screen doors and air-conditioning and the beautiful design bathrooms with stone floors are not only functional but chic. This is one of the few upscale, restored farmhouses I have visited that actually has wonderful down comforters on the beds instead of the often-used heavy woolen blankets I have found in most accommodations. Annarita and her staff are warm and friendly and on one morning it was too windy to sit outside for breakfast so it was prepared for us in the unoccupied suite next to our room! Enjoy a very good meal of pasta and fish just down the road at Casa dell'Angelo where Rocco will greet guests with charm and good old-fashioned Italian charisma. The beautiful coastal town of Castro is only 10 minutes away and a must visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights in early July 2017. Overall, the place is fantastic - loved the beautiful grounds and the staff was very accommodating. We rented a car at Bari airport and, after a night's stay in Monopoli, drove down to Masseria La Gresca (it was prob a little over an hour's drive). Thankfully Google maps navigation worked well on our international cell phone plan, because I think it would have been more difficult to find without that. We loved the staff, Valentina and Cinzia were very accommodating and friendly, and spoke English. The masseria's grounds are beautiful - a large lawn, with a lovely pool in the center, ringed by a few bungalow-type lodgings, and the covered patio where we had breakfast each morning (fabulous cheeses and pastries, plus a member of the staff was always on hand to make us cappuccinos). I can't recommend this place enough - we were within driving distance of beaches like Otranto and Castro, Lecce was a bit further afield, but we did go one night for an excellent dinner at Vico dei Sotterranei. We also reserved dinner at the masseria one night and it was fun - ended up chatting with another couple from Germany and Cinzia because we were all seated together at one large table. Really loved our experience. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the 'La Gresca'. The property is very nice and looked after. It offers big spacious rooms with big patio and a nice pool to cool down. Breakfast and dinner (optional to book) is served at the dinning room, where all guests eat at one huge table (which is actually an old door). It felt like a big family. |The property is managed by a family, who made us feel very welcomed from the first minute until we left. |Really nothing to complain - We loved our stay and would come back again! Thank you very much!

A truly wonderful and pleasant stay. Friendly staff, perfect setting and a warm atmosphere. Riccardo was a legend, he wore multiple hats and had all the local southern Puglia knowledge. We loved the room and the enclosure of the masseria was quiet and peaceful |We could have stayed a lot longer

This masseria is great. Its quite small (only about 8 rooms), traditional (although guests are very international) and really a small oasis of peace. Breakfast is simple but great, the pool small but nice, the room (we had a Junior Suite) spacious and clean. ||I recommend you take the Junior Suite next to the breakfast pavilion!||They also offer lunch and dinner - tried lunch and it tasted just as good as I expected.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff are lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere, perfect for children. They offer an evening meal and the food is of a very high standard (and we are very particular with food). I would highly recommend this place. Clean and comfortable rooms. They also have a family of cats, which made it for my children.
