Masseria Salinola

We had an amazing time at Masseria Salinola. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh fruits, sweets, eggs, focaccia,… Our room was cozy and perfectly clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to share great tips about what to do and see in the region. We also really enjoyed the dinner. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and comfortable, even in cooler months like October and November. |Overall, Masseria Salinola is a charming place that combines warm hospitality, excellent food, and great attention to detail. Highly recommended!

We spent two nights in this Masseria. The place is amazing, plenty of small attention that makes your stay wonderful. Room was very clean but a bit small for the price. Was very quiet and breakfast had. Lot of choices including eggs of your choice, cakes, fresh cheese, ham, fruits, yogurt, etc. We had dinner one time, it was good but for 50 euros we could have expected a bit more. I think 35-40€ would be a more appropriate price. At the checkout we have been offered some fresh bottles of water and some cakes. Very nice.

This is the charming place you hope to find on your trip to Puglia-lovely setting, well thought-out rooms, wonderful food and welcoming hosts. In fact, Daniele, the main host, should teach hospitality to all innkeepers! He is so genuinely gracious and helpful. It is also a good base for exploring the midsection of Puglia, all the interesting little towns. And definitely take advantage of eating dinner here- the menus are set but they’ll adapt them if necessary. Not only was the food excellent, but very fairly priced. There is nothing more to add- just go here!!!

WOW, absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Masseria Salinola. It was even more beautiful than the photos, every detail of the decor was perfect. The rooms were lovely, the pool was beautiful and the food was fantastic. We had dinner one night which was just delicious. The zucchini parmesan is unbelievable. The owners are a lovely family and their warm care for their guests made our visit special.

We spent four nights at Masseria Salinola, a heavenly respite that exudes charm, comfort and authenticity. What makes this place so special is the warmth and hospitality of the family-run farm-hotel, now in its fourth generation. Daniele and Sonia and others will take all the time necessary to offer their guests suggestions. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We hadn't planned on eating all our dinners there, but after dining the first night and realizing how delicious everything was, we ended up enjoying all our dinners there. The masseria is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the whitewashed hilltop town of Ostuni, the unique Trulli houses in Alberobello, and the historic coastal town of Polignano a Mare. If you plan on spending any time in Puglia, this is the place to stay.

Unfortunately, we had only one night booked, but despite the short stay, we fell in love with the Masseria’s charm — its cozy atmosphere, rustic décor, and inviting character. The staff and owners were exceptionally attentive and friendly, making us feel instantly at home. We especially loved the peaceful reading nook, the delightful afternoon tea and cakes, and the welcoming swimming pool — a perfect place to unwind. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Masseria Salinola was a dream. I found this amazing place online back in December 2024 and immediately knew this is where I wanted to take my daughter for her 40th birthday celebration. This place exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Suite Della Chiesa, that accommodated 3 guests. Wherever you looked around the property, was like a postcard. The owner, Daniele from the Capriglia family (4th generation) was the perfect host. He was very friendly and was always around to assist in any way that he could. Sonia from the front desk, was also great as well as the entire staff. They had a cake, balloons and a bottle of Prosecco in the room waiting for our arrival per my instructions. My daughter was blown away. We spent 5 nights at Masseria Salinola and it was our home base for daily trips to other parts of Puglia. We visited Bari and Polignano a Mare one day; Alberobello and Locorotondo another day; Matera another day, and Lecce and winery Masseria Altemura on our last full day in Puglia. I will highly recommend staying in this gorgeous place. My daughter Ashley, twin sister Eva and myself will always cherish our time spent there. If you have a chance to stay here, don’t hesitate to do it. We also had 2 phenomenal dinners at their restaurant. It was some of the best meals we had during our entire trip.
