Master Divers

I did 6 fun dives as an Advanced Open Water Diver and found Divemaster Steven to be incredibly knowledgable and safe through day 1. On day 2 I went along with Instructor Anna who was leading my wife on her Advanced Open Water course and was very pleased with Anna’s professionalism, level of knowledge and how personable she made the course feel for my wife who was up until now an anxious diver. 5 stars. Would highly recommend this shop to new and seasoned divers.

Update: Shout out to Lovisa and Hugo! Tusen tack Lovisa for helping me overcome my fears! I had wonderful three days doing my open water course. Very pedagogical step by step learning following the PADI structure. Lovisa is the best and made me feel very safe. She was great pointing out fun things underwater for example the teeny tiny colorful slugs 😄 and cute puffer fish. And it was so fun swimming around like mermaids in the big school of fish 🧜🏼‍♀️🐟. Hot tip is to take seasickness pills and bring a warm shirt and wind jacket in between the dives. It will make the dive so much more enjoyable when you’re not jumping in cold. Master Divers have a professional atmosphere and all instructors, masters and maintenance staff feel very caring. Edit: I had my first fun dives with Hugo and we had a great time! He’s relaxed and I tried my best moving as natural underwater as him. We saw some fun animals, for example, bluestripe pipefish, a turtle (shout out to Anna), a big harlequin sweetlips, a cute oreo nudibranch while munching. Thank you Hugo for giving feedback on my diving and encouraging me to do the advanced open water and telling me what to gain from it 🙏.

Just finished my Open water diving Cert with Mackenzie! She was incredible, every other staff member we met were fantastic. 4 stunning dives, saw lots of aquatic life. We were fortunate to have a DMT with us named David and he was a gem. 12/10 recommend using the company for diving, ask for Mack but can't go wrong with any of the instructors we met!

I improvised taking my diving certification and chose this dive center based on Google reviews, and they were 100% right. I got super lucky and managed to book my Open Water certification from one day to the next. I had Adam as my instructor and it was great ! He was friendly, extremely clear, patient, and very encouraging. Everything felt smooth and well explained, and he made me feel confident at every step. During the dives, we were often on the boats with other groups from the school, and every single instructor I met was amazing. All very charming, attentive, and genuinely present to make sure everyone was okay and enjoying the experience. I loved it so much that I extended my stay and did the Advanced course (2 more days). And then… the ultimate cherry on the cake: on my very last dive, in the very last minute, a whale shark passed just 2 meters in front of us. Absolutely spectacular. Huge thanks, unforgettable experience. 🐋🤍

MD divers is an excellent diving club in Koh Tao and does really focus on you. Recently, I followed a wreak course with Skip. He is an amazing experienced diver, and as instructor Skip will teach you in a very safe and enjoyable way. I felt always confident and I really appreciated. Thank you so much.

We had an amazing experience with this dive shop! We did several dives with them, including a night dive, and always felt completely safe and well taken care of. The whole team is extremely friendly, professional, and safety-conscious. They also show great respect for the environment, which we really appreciated. We had so much fun with the team and had the chance to see several dive sites around Koh Tao. If you look for a dive center to have fun, lots of laughs and explore the ocean come to this place! We always felt welcome and in the best hands — highly recommended!

The best diving school in Koh Tao! My husband and I did both the Open Water course and the Advanced Open Water course here, and it was an amazing experience. Our instructor was Anna, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She’s just lovely—very professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and fun! She taught us everything we needed to know and explained it all clearly so we always felt comfortable and safe underwater. The courses are up to 4 people (for Open Water), so everyone gets plenty of attention, which makes a huge difference. Master Divers were also very considerate and flexible whenever we needed adjustments, which we truly appreciated. Koh Tao’s diving sites are stunning, with great visibility, and we got to see so much! Everyone working at Master Divers is super friendly—you’re always greeted with a warm smile. I absolutely recommend this dive center for its professionalism, safety, and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Anna and Master Divers, for making our diving journey so memorable! ❤️

I was in Koh Tao for 2 weeks and had an amazing time doing my PADI training with my instructor Drew. I initially planned on just doing my PADI Open Water qualification but enjoyed the course so much that I decided to complete my Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air Diver courses too. Drew was a great instructor. Calm, knowledgeable, super friendly and I improved a lot over a short amount of time. The class sizes were small (I had 1:1 for Open Water and 1:2 for Advanced and Enriched Air Diver). If you're thinking of doing your PADI or fun dives with a dive centre in Koh Tao I highly recommend Master Divers. I'm very glad I went with them and will continue doing fun dives with them for the rest of my time in Koh Tao.
