Little Bingin

Probably my favourite stay in our 8 Bali hotels. The views. The lovely sweet staff. The breakfast by the pool with those views! Bingin beach a fun stroll down the cliff. The sunsets!!! We stayed in a pool villa, the treehouse and the regular villa. The pool villa was our favourite. It gave us such happy vibes. If you can afford it I think the pool villa overlooking the sea would be the ultimate treat. We hired the hotel’s. driver who gave us a fair price and was a really lovely young man. Highly recommend this hotel.

Instant chill vibes when I come here. Mata is truly one of my favorite places on the planet. Nestled on the cliff in Bingin with a constant spectacular view, this boutique bungalow offers an unforgettable experience. What truly sets this place apart is its exceptional staff. We had the most amazing time at Mata Bingin. The view is just unbelievable, and the staff and management are super friendly and helpful.|As the resort has only 7 bungalows and the restaurant is not open to public it is always calm and relaxed with a beautiful chilled atmosphere. Through the private beach gate we could walk down to the beach directly from the resort to go for a surf or a drink at the beach.|Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely gorgeous and cozy little hotel with an incredible view!! The pool was really nice and cute. The food was good, but very limited. However, apart from that it unfortunately didn’t really live up to expectations. We stayed 3 nights in the Sunset Hut. All huts are really cute looking. But smelled really weird, musty and damp. It also didn’t feel very clean. The walls in the bathroom were dirty, spider web in the ceiling, the bed canopy and linen were stained. It was also not the nice and friendly welcome and service by the staff that we’ve gotten in the rest of Bali, the lady that checked us in was kind of arrogant. Glad we came because of the surroundings and view but probably wouldn’t come back, and probably wouldn’t recommend, or only recommend to stay tops 1 night to enjoy the surroundings and view.

Pros: view and location is incredible. Nice wind through the property. Cottages well spread out. Quiet place. Manager is always available to help. Cons: the lady at the reception was quite cold. Very unlike the other places we have stayed at in Bali. We asked for a room and the first thing she asked was pretty much if we can afford it. She could have told us the room prices in a more pleasant and welcoming manner. Not sure of her name, she had short hair and looked to be in her 40s-50s. There is a very sweet and heavy smell in the bedrooms. It comes from the bed linen. Maybe it is the detergent being used? But the smell is not nice and way too strong. We had 2 bedrooms, one room's bedsheet had stains. We asked the staff to change it but since it was past 8pm, it couldn't be changed which is completely understandable. What is not understandable is why stained sheets were placed on the bed in the first place. Breakfast was average tasting. Overall: if your main goal is ocean view and sounds, beautiful wind, peaceful and quiet place in nature, this place is for you. Be aware of the bedsheets, check them before getting in.

Thank you Mata Bingin for a wonderful stay. A very special experience! Loved the clubhouse and nice service, fine cleaning, sweet staff and the view. Wow! A beautiful spot. And Bingin Beach was surprisingly fine for snorkeling with clear water. Must go back.

Mick's has a charm that is really hard to articulate - you need to just trust the reviews and GET THERE! It is worth every cent. I've recently come back from a week's stay with husband, good friend, and my sister - was the first time for the friend and my sister, and they totally GOT IT too! We are just about to book again for later this year which will be my third time there. I rarely book anything in Bali twice as I love trying new places, but this is an exception :) Stunning Views. Hospitable, laid back, informative owners/hosts. Lovely staff that seem to get the work done without been at all intrusive and are always up for a chat and a laugh. Food is simple, fresh, well executed and more than enough - great breakfast options and fabulous lunches. Please buy your mixers, wines and beers from Mick's room service kitchen - they are really reasonably priced and for such a small resort, think important to contribute by doing this and not bringing your own in from outside. They are very happy to provide ice and glasses for you to use your duty free to pour yourself a gin and tonic by the pool or in your room. Beers will be happily delivered to you poolside complete in the obligatory Mick's Place stubby holders! Rooms are immaculate, casually beachy in earthy textural tones - the showers are designed to save precious water, but when you are in and out of the pool all day, who needs a high pressure shower?! Impossible to describe how amazing this place is! We stayed in the Honeymoon room with private pool. The room is amazing, outdoor bathroom stunning, but it’s the view that makes it so very special!|Staff were wonderful and super helpful. Apart from our short walks for coffee and dinner we happily stayed at our villa!
