Matador Mexican Cantina

Horrible food and even worse service-- After the server asked us how everything was, we told her that the kid's burrito was not good (it was smothered in tomato sauce, a couple of sprinkles of cheese, the tortilla was soggy, rice was not fully cooked and the beans were not seasoned), she asked us if she can get us anything else, we asked her for a kids quesadilla. When we received our check, we saw that she charged us for both the burrito and the quesadilla. After disputing it, she said that it wasn't their policy to remove an item that a person didn't like, she proceeded to say that there's nothing wrong with it because other people like it... umm...hmm....wow. By the looks of the empty dining room, on-line reviews, and need for a 1/2 off mobile deal after 6 years in business, I would say that their food has come to repulse more than me and my 11 year old. Don't waste your time.

We have been to the Matador in Glenwood Park twice in the past couple of weeks. Both times we ate in the bar area. Once at the bar and once at a table. The food was tasty, hot, and plentiful. The bartender / server Will was great. He mixes a mean margaritta and has a seemingly never ending series of "true" tales to share with his patrons. We will definitely go back.

Horrible service and only decent food! Never again. My buddy and I waited 45minutes to get our food. The bartender was our server so he was busy with other customers. No one even checked on us for drink refills.

Had dinner there today and the menu looked good and it was empty in the rest. and the food took forever and the food wasn't that great, disappointing. The service wasn't that great either.
