The matcha here is authentic and rich, nothing like the overly sweet, watered-down versions you find at fast food chains.
I tried the cheesecake matcha latte, and it was fantastic. The flavors were well-balanced—creamy yet bold, with just the right amount of sweetness.
The ambiance is nice but compact, and it’s usually packed with university students. Seating is limited, so expect to either stand while enjoying your drink or take it to go.
Overall, great quality, authentic matcha and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the real thing!

As a matcha lover, I’ve been so excited to try this spot and it did not disappoint! I went midday with no line and it’s a self serve spot so you order through their tablet when you walk in which also means cards only. I really liked my iced Chai Matcha! I’ve never had this combination before so it was a beautiful blend of my 2 favourite drinks! The aesthetics in this cafe are incredible - so chic! Can’t wait to come back to try more.
Side note: there’s a convenient underground parking garage right beside so when you walk out it’s the door right beside the cafe!

Absolutely loved my visit to Matcha Matcha! Sophia recommended the classic matcha latte and pistachio croissant, and it was an excellent suggestion. The latte had the perfect balance of earthy matcha and smooth milk, making each sip incredibly refreshing. The pistachio croissant was flaky and buttery, with just the right amount of pistachio filling that wasn’t too overwhelming. A perfect combination! The staff (Amy was the best!) were friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for high-quality matcha and delicious pastries! Will definitely be back!

I’ve been drinking matcha for years but this is where I had the best cup of matcha I’ve ever had.
You can tell they use good quality ceremonial grade matcha powder.
The baristas are very friendly as well.
The only downside is that they have a very small cramped seating area which was packed.

Great Matcha beverage! I had the mango refresher. So tasty. Service by Jen was excellent too. FYI- they only accept cc no cash.
My only complaint was too much ice in cup & you can’t specify “less ice” on touchscreen order tablet. However that won’t keep me from 5 star rating. Great job. Thanks Jen 💯

If you’re a matcha lover, this spot is worth the wait! Located at 407 Church St, Toronto, MATCHA MATCHA had a bit of a line, but even waiting over 15 minutes was well worth it. Once inside, we were welcomed by a super clean, inviting space, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
We tried a Matchacano and two Hojicha Lattes, and wow—absolutely delicious! The drinks were clearly made with top-quality ingredients, and the flavors were smooth, rich, and well-balanced. The Matchacano was especially unique, and the Hojicha Lattes had a perfect roasted flavor. Definitely a must-try for anyone in the area!

I waited in line for about 30 mins (which was not as long as I thought it would take) for this hyped up Matcha café and it did not disappoint!
The inside decor is sleek and modern. You can see master baristas crafting drinks at the main counter and the backdrop has some cute decorations. The staff were all friendly and attentive even though it was so busy!
I got myself a Matcha Milk Tea with regular sugar, a Matcha Crêpe cake and an Earl Grey Crêpe Cake. Everything was smooth, cold and delicious. The Crêpe Cake was to DIE for. Not too sweet but super rich.
I went again to try their soft serve and it was so creamy, delicious and not overly sweet. Their matcha is definitely some of the creamiest I’ve had and is great quality. I bought one more Matcha Milk Tea to take for my sister before I left!
I definitely recommend this place if you’re as matcha-obsessed as I am! The extra long lines have gone as the hype has died down, so that’s good! The only time I’ve currently seen lines appear is during or after lunch times on the weekends.

It is much smaller in person, so if you’re going there to get work done, be warned. Not much seating, tables are small and space is tight. Music is way too loud, even with headphones on.
I had the coconut pandan matcha and it was very good! Matcha is nice and strong, flavours are well balanced. Would come back for the matcha and for a coffee date, but not to sit down and work.
