ONE woman working. No help, no service. We stood there and she did not even acknowledge us. Not friendly at all. She said, "No, you can't sit down and order a tasting. You need to wait." Um, no thanks, I am not going to wait 30 minutes (like the people in front of us did). We could not try anything. 15 customers waiting. Not acceptable and disappointing.

Very friendly and informative staff with a wide variety of inventive spirits to try. After our tasting, we went home with a bottle of their Moon Blight, a Nocino with co-fermented plum and Pinot Noir, and Bugle Juice, their pre-mixed ginger Old Fashioned.

Very Informative only open Saturday 3pm to 6pm but they had a good size pf people already at 3pm coming in. We loved the tour and tasting and I had the old fashion cocktail. Can't wait to see what they have in store

Zero experience with customer service. No one working there makes eye contact or does basic things like a greeting. There’s no rhyme or reason to what’s going on there.

Loved this place. Amazing hospitality and creativity with the drinks they’ve dreamed up. Will be back to try more!

This is an extraordinary spot for people who are passionate about creative distilling. The host sat with us during our tasting flights, and told the stories behind each bottle we tried. She even brought us another to taste based on what we liked about the ones we had sampled. Matchbook should be a destination for anyone interested in craft liquors.

Create Your Own Gin experience is a lot of fun - colleagues and I have done it twice in two years. Paul's a great guide. They make a lot of unique, interesting, and tasty spirits.

Matchbook Distilling Co. is an easy walk from the town center and well worth a visit. They offer a wide selection of different liquors, and the bartenders can mix up an amazing cocktail or help you choose a tasting flight. We opted for a tasting of three liquors, and each one was excellent. The atmosphere is fun, and the bartenders were lovely, making the whole experience even better. We went to Greenport to celebrate my birthday over the long MLK weekend. We booked a gin making experience for one of the days. We had an amazing time, had no idea that there was so much involved in gin making. All the flavors available were also surprising. We each received the gin we made to take home in a 750cc bottle. So not just a tiny bottle. We got a tour of the facility and the mixing room were all the magic happens. We have been a fan of Matchbook Distillery for a while, this was a fantastic day. Thank you so much.

We went to Matchbook for my bachelorette party. It was a wonderful experience and exactly what I wanted to do. The building is amazing and we enjoyed a tour before we all got down to the nitty gritty and made our own gin. There were plenty of flavors to pick from, everything from yuzu, to bee pollen, to Szechuan, and I definitely felt like a full blown mixologist/scientist. Paul was informative & super helpful to all of us. The icing on the cake was each of us leaving with our own creation in 750 ml bottle we got to label. Thanks for a kick ass time & I will most definitely be going back.
