We visited this lovely winery on a rainy day, so we only got to experience the indoor part of the tour - but it was absolutely worth it! We really enjoyed learning about the unique approach and traditional techniques used in winemaking in the Azores. I personally learned a lot, and everyone in our group loved the wine tasting that followed.
What made the visit truly special, though, were two impressive women. Our guide, Beatrice (hope I’m spelling that right!), was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the topic. We were also lucky enough to meet Magdalena, the owner, who shared fascinating stories about the history of the winery and her family.
They even gave us some wonderful tips for things to do on a rainy day in Terceira - from local shops to great restaurants.
Highly recommended - even if the weather doesn’t cooperate!
