MATI Art Gallery Fira

Terrible service. Like one of the reviews mentioned below that the staff was discriminates against Orientals. I understand they face many tourists everyday but the staff was nice to other customers which they were white. I politically asked if I could see and try on the necklaces - she didn’t want to show them all to me and was being very rude keep asking “so are you buying this one or not?” She kept putting things away so quickly like I was going to steal. The attitude was suggesting that I can only purchase one necklace not more. Just a very terrible experience! I did purchase one thing in the end despite the service because I love to design. But I really don’t recommend this place. Please improve your service or educate your staff!

Beautiful pieces of art which you can buy or order directly at the place!

We happened upon Mati Art Gallery while visiting Fira recently. Yorgas Kypris displays his works which include contemporary sculptures and installations, as well as wearable art. Definitely worth visiting when on Santorini island.

Simply superb. An artist who lives and breathes his word and art. No prices on items but yes...you can afford them if you think of them as family.

We have been to Santorini twice the first time we missed visiting Mati Art Gallery So glad we found the Art Gallery, we meet Diana who was excellent she could not have been more help and polite. The art gallery is a must visit as you will be amazed at what’s inside, you will have to take your time or you will miss the beautiful pieces of art that are all around the gallery. And don’t forget to go downstairs. We did buy some art and will remember our visit always. Thank you.

Visiting Mati Art Gallery is a feast for the eyes and a ‘must-visit’ for anyone who can appreciate artistry, ingenuity and skill. It’s filled with intricate, mesmerising art that draws you in and reveals greater depth and beauty the longer you look. The whole experience was the highlight of our holiday in Santorini and will be a treasured memory we will be reminded of every time we look at our stunning pieces.
