Matinée Cocktail Bar & Restaurant

We had Lasagna Bolognese it was delicious. I ordered the zucchini pasta, it was good but I’m not sure I loved it, never had this dish and thought I’d try it. The berry cheesecake for dessert was excellent. Our server was kind and very attentive!

We had an amazing experience! We ordered the salmon salad, lasagna, and tacos. The tacos were juicy and full of flavor, the lasagna was absolutely delicious (one of the best we’ve had!), and the salmon salad was fresh and very tasty. We’ve been in Italy for 12 days now, and this is by far the best place we’ve eaten at. Highly recommended!

Review on google map . We stopped here after leaving Amalfi in the pouring rain. We ordered fish and chips and Nacho for a light snack. The fish was fresh and juicy, wedge potatoes were perfectly cooked. Nacho had a nice spicy touch. Shout out to the owner, he was being very kind giving 2 logo T-shirts to my kids because they are soaking wet and no shops were open. Sorry no food picture, I guess we were hungry after all.

By far in the journey in the Italy, I might have had the best pizza here (personal best, there might be many other places for good pizza around) in an unexpected place like Maiori. They had different toppings and they also has good pesto sauce as well. I had ordered pizza which had most veg toppings and over that I has asked if they could add pesto and mushrooms. They were considerate enough to do it for me, this is how you run a business by listening to customer needs. The pesto pasta was filling and the pizzas were very good. I also got some knocchi which was good as well. Overall it was a good food experience. Recommended: Vegetarian pizza and ask for additional toppings from another pizza that they have. Not recommended: nil

I really enjoyed this place. I felt like much of my time in Italy many of the restaurants felt interchangeable. This place is definitely trying to stand out. The menu has more variety than most of the other places around. I had the carbonara and I think they did an excellent job with it.

Excellent service and very good food. I had hoped to have a Pizza Diavolo (spicy pepperoni) but this wasn’t on the menu. Speck (bacon) with sun dried tomato etc was excellent though; better than the pizza we had in Napoli yesterday! €79 for 3, including a beer and a bottle of pretty good Amalfi white wine. I thought it very good value. Very relaxed atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Great vibe chill music and a mix of Italian and western food options. Across from the beach and gives a modern bar vibe with beers and wines and mix drinks.

We’ve been to Matinée restaurant for evening drinks and dinner with friends. It was so fulfilling and the hospitality along with food options were delightful in the charming coastal town of Maiori They have perfectly balanced cocktails that were a delight for both the eyes and the palate. We preferred food over cocktails not sure can see folks enjoying good cocktails (classic martini or an adventurous fusion ) as well. It was a very vibrant and energetic night for all. The menu features a combination of local and international dishes, each thoughtfully prepared with a modern twist. We had club sandwiches along with fries, beer, drinks and nuggets with wings which were cooked to perfection and accompanied by a zesty citrus sauce. The staff is super friendly and they ensured that every need was met without being intrusive. The Tiramisu, prepared with a delicate balance of flavors and a touch of liqueur, was equally impressive and a fitting end to a lovely every for us.

Stopped here for a drink after eating dinner at Casa Mandina. Definitely not a spot for a quiet drink as they play loud 90's club music here but it was all music that reminded me of my clubbing days. They have many creative drinks on the menu and the bartenders were friendly. Drinks here were very reasonably priced (10-12 Euros). Similar drinks back home in the Bay Area tend to run $18-20. This is an excellent spot for a tasty drink.

Came here for something different than Italian food. It is more like American bar food. They have children wings on the menu. Had the chianina beef hamburger with French fries. It had sun dried tomatoes on the burger. Very nice. Food came out hot and was very good. Hipster place where the beautiful people come to people watch and be seen.

Extremely friendly staff! Most of them speak English and are really kind. I came with my family and we had no clue what to order so our amazing waiter suggested some options and we loved them! We shared a veggie pizza and a couple burgers. They were both delicious and big portions, definitely enough to share between 2-3 people. Great ambiance too! Nice evening lighting and house music playing. Wonderful evening, thank you all!! :)

Had a great experience here. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent, and there was a full bar. Cocktails were a bit on the pricier side (though not outrageous by any means), but the food was very cheap which evened out the bill. They really knew how to set the mood with music, and provided a welcoming, warm, modern atmosphere for dinner. Overall a lovely experience, and some of the cleanest toilets I've ever used in Italy!
